Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: "Glass Shards"

"Where are you going? This is your chance, you know."

The strange sound echoed in Noah's ears, making Noah's skin immediately stand on end in fear—seeing a shard of glass suddenly appear out of nowhere and fly straight towards Noah. The flying glass made a movement that seemed inviting, Noah could almost see his own reflection in the glass.

Chance? What chance? He felt like he still didn't understand what the object was saying or why it was floating and talking. Could it be... I'm trapped inside a horror movie? Noah tried to calm himself and started to think about what was happening. He tried to look again so he wouldn't see the glass as floating.

He's really floating...

The glass shards began to notice the boy who showed confusion and anxiety on his face, "Wait...sir?" The strange voice echoed softly in Noah's ears which gave off a confused impression as well.

"Sir...this is just a joke, right?" Those words slowly began to hurt Noah's mind. Suddenly, he put his right hand to his forehead to hold back the pain. "Agh...it hurts..." Noah said, feeling extremely ill inside his head. What is this! It feels like something is stabbing my brain!

Inside the lighthouse, roots that came from nowhere suddenly began to appear around the area. The white door that was supposed to lead out of the lighthouse suddenly disappeared and turned into a normal wall. This was a cursed building. "Agh... the door... disappeared?!"

"S-sir... please remember who you are..." The flying glass shard said in a strange, worried voice. Noah still didn't know what was happening and still felt a sharp pain in his head.

"Who... is the master you're referring to?" Noah asked the floating glass shards in a tired voice, holding his head with his right hand. At first, the glass shards were floating like restless butterflies, but when the glass heard what Noah said, it froze without moving an inch, as if in disbelief.

"S-sir...please...don't forget me..." The glass shards began to beg Noah like a hungry dog begging for food, Noah still stared at the floating glass shards with a confused face. What was going on?

Noah began to think that perhaps this piece of glass was a lost "pet," and they assumed he was the owner of the "pet" he was looking for. "Who are you... why can you fly?" Noah asked, finally mustering the courage to speak to the strange creature.

The glass shard didn't answer anything for 5 seconds and finally the object started to say something in an increasingly strange voice. "DOn'T SAy ThAT LoUd... hE HeARS US..." A strange voice echoed inside the lighthouse building, Noah who heard it immediately backed away from the glass shard that was initially calm but suddenly turned into a crazy object, this made Noah's fear increase.

What did he mean? Who was the "him" he was referring to? These questions began to fill Noah's mind. What had initially been a calm yet eerie atmosphere in this place had grown increasingly ominous, as the shards of glass began to drift aimlessly like birds that had lost their minds.

Suddenly, inside this dark lighthouse building, a ladder to climb up suddenly fell and shattered, Noah felt the space of this place slowly getting smaller and started to approach Noah. "Arghh... My hand!" At this moment, glass shards flew aimlessly and started to hit Noah's right hand which made him feel his hand hit by the remains of glass that pierced one part of his hand.

"YOU SHoULD... BE tHE ONE PUNIshED FOR THis AcT!!!" Said the glass shard with its strange voice that was getting louder inside this building making Noah's ears almost deaf. MY EARS... SOMEONE HELP ME! The glass shard started to approach Noah to do something as "revenge" that Noah didn't know, whatever problem had involved the man.

Noah started to get scared and screamed for help from the crazy thing that started attacking him for no apparent reason. Without him realizing, the glass shards had approached Noah and started forcing Noah's mouth open at a sharp angle, making Noah even more in pain "AAGHHH STAY AWAY FROM ME, PLS NO NO!" He screamed echoes in this dark suddenly place.

Noah started to get scared and screamed for help from the crazy thing that started attacking him for no apparent reason. Without him realizing, the glass shards had approached Noah and started to force open Noah's mouth with a sharp angle making Noah even more in pain. "AAGHHH WAIT DON'T DON'T!" Noah's screams of pain echoed in this narrow building, the glass shards didn't care about Noah's screams for help to stop because the glass shards had been blinded by betrayal and the curse that passed through his body.

UUUUUGGGGHHHHHHHHH...IT HURTS IT HURTS IT HURTS MY MOUTH! MY NECK HURT SO MUCH! Inside the building that was starting to get dark, the initially quiet and calm atmosphere turned into an increasingly scary atmosphere. Blood began to flow from Noah's mouth which was hit by the glass shards, resulting in his mouth opening and releasing blood that fell to the ground, fear began to fill his feelings and disturb his thoughts. "WAIT-WAIT I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT-" Before he could finish his words, Noah felt a worse pain in his neck, the glass shards had begun to enter the man's neck and hurt the corners of the neck. "YOu WIlL DIe wiTH mE!!!" Said the glass shards in a strange voice with a very crazy tone - inviting Noah to die with him.

Noah couldn't say anything and could only feel Excruciating pain in his mouth and neck. Most of Noah's body began to weaken from the panic or fear he was experiencing at this time, a question began to appear in Noah's mind. "Is this... the place of Naraka?" "Why am I here?" "Am I really dead?" The man's heartbeat began to pound as he pondered these questions in his head.

Noah began to move his head and eyes up a little even though it was increasingly painful for him - and saw a little light in this building. Noah was still unsure whether the place he suddenly lay here was a lighthouse or not; the size of this building was not one fixed size and usually lighthouses vary, but before the darkness began to hide part of the building, there was a shelf filled with books, stairs to the next floor, and a whiteboard with writing on paper stuck to it.

Noah had a talent for understanding and remembering objects lying around. He saw a small light above him, gradually brightening Noah vision. The glass shard still stinging inside the man neck began to realize that a figure was coming for them both in this place.

"..."His" coming..." The words of the glass shards echoed in Noah's neck, Noah began to relax his whole body because of the pain that the glass shards caused him. "THIS IS ALL YoUr faUl-" before they could finish his words, the glass shards suddenly began to melt and leave liquid into Noah's stomach which actually made him start to feel nauseous and want to throw up the remains from his stomach.

"HHHHUUUUUEEE-" he started to fall to the floor and started to vomit a liquid with the remains of unmelted glass out of Noah's mouth and fell to the floor.

The pain in his neck and mouth was still there, Noah began to develop a new fear - eating a piece of glass. He tried to vomit it out of his mouth again so that nothing remained of the glass shards, Noah's vision felt blurry after experiencing the torture of the glass shards that he didn't know what his fault was, all the furniture and frames in this building began to come back into view after sinking from the darkness that appeared out of nowhere.

"Water...water..." Noah tried to pick up a bottle of water lying in his bag with his limp, white hands, after experiencing incredible suffering. Is this what it feels like to be pregnant?

He was so weak that his hands could barely reach his bag from behind him. He fell silent, leaning against something behind him. The light that had initially begun to brighten the place began to fade, leaving only a small ray of light illuminating the place.

"Hello sir."
