Mr Ndlovu: "Hi Sthandwa Sami (my love)?, I'm so
happy to see you," he walked up to
her and gave her a hug and a kiss. She
looked so happy to see him, they looked
so much in love. They spoke for some
time about his trip. I was just standing
there looking at them.
Mr Ndlovu: "Haibo, where are my
manners, so Linomtha. This is my wife,
Sthandwa Sami uLinomtha lo. I invited
her to come and stay with us, she is my
newly appointed Att…" he didn't even
finish that sentence, she interrupted him
before he could finish.
Mrs Ndlovu: "Hie? She will not stay in this house Moses." She looked very
angry.
Mr Ndlovu: "Kodwa sithandwa sami…."
Mrs Ndlovu: "You have no shame yazi,
Yes ngiyazi I am growing old kodwa
aungi hlambalaza kanjani? The first time I
stayed kodwa manje hai ungijwaela
kabi. Uwunamahloni yazi you made a
vow before God that you will never
ever hurt me, you will stay through bad
and good. ."
She was crying now and she was
struggling to speak, she tried to speak
but then I could not make out what she
was saying, the only thing I managed to
hear was "I am going upstairs mangi
buya I don't want to find her in my house or both of you will know me I am sick
and tired of been controll.. I'm tired of being sweet." She then walked
away.
Mr Ndlovu and I just stood there stunned
Linomtha: It's been over an hour now
just sitting waiting to hear about my fate.
Mr Ndlovu told me to sit down and
promised me he is going to fix things
with his wife, he will be back. I was so
scared. I really thought this was my big
break but then that woman made it clear she wants me gone and I am sure Mr Ndlovu
won't choose me over her. A whole lot
things were going through my mind.
What did she mean she stayed the first
time and this time she won't, uyafeba
wena. Hai did maybe Mr Ndlovu bring
one of his nyatsi shome and she
thought I am one of them? But then I am
so not in his league for her to take me
as one of his nyatsis. What if I was right
when I thought gore Mr Ndlovu sleeps
with young girls in exchange for jobs?
Hai this was just too good to be true. As
I was busy thinking I saw Mr Ndlovu
walking down the stairs. Ok this is it.
Linomtha his going to tell you to go back
home.
