Chapter 16 - chapter 15:Jumanji-Game Over Before It Began.

The next day, I woke up feeling unusually refreshed.

Today I decided to use the random generator app again to select a world to travel to.

The wheel spun, faster and faster, familiar worlds flashing by in a blur.

The wheel slowed.

Tick. Tick. Tick.

Finally, it stopped.

> Selected world: Jumanji (2017).

I smiled. I had just rewatched this one recently in my free time in the 10,000 B.C. world—when I wasn't hunting or traveling between hunting grounds.

Shifting into my Data Form, I became intangible, invisible, untraceable,Ready for adventure—I traveled to that world.

---

A/N: Only for those who haven't watched the movie—skip if you like.

The plot, basically: Four high school students—Spencer, Fridge, Martha, and Bethany—get stuck in detention and find an old video game called Jumanji.

When they start playing, they're magically transported into a living, dangerous jungle world where each becomes a video game avatar with unique abilities and weaknesses.

To escape, they must complete the game's main quest: return the Jaguar's Eye to its rightful place. Along the way, they face wild animals, deadly traps, and a relentless hunter named Van Pelt.

They learn to work together, embrace their strengths, and adapt to unexpected challenges. By completing the quest, they return safely to the real world—changed, more confident, and closer as friends.

---

I appeared in a narrow back alley, the sounds of the city muted around me. I asked a passerby for the location and the date. He stared, bewildered, but answered: 2015. A year before the events of the movie. Perfect.

I then instructed Athena to generate a plausible identity—either a student at Brantford High School or a janitor—anyone could get the job done.

> "Complete. Janitor identity forged. Fingerprints, attendance logs, and photos included. Integration success: 100%. Cost: 20 U.P.F."

Perfect. I could walk in unnoticed, blending into the crowd.

Time to move.

If anything caught my eye in this world, it was the world of Jumanji itself. A living, adaptive world that could grow and change—fascinating.

I asked Athena how to maximize potential gains from it. It suggested a method… one I'm keeping to myself for now.

Walking into the school, I headed straight for the detention center. Inside, the room was quiet, unremarkable.

I strode past dusty shelves and reached directly for the Jumanji cartridge and the old console setup, relying entirely on my memory of the movie.

I didn't waste my time. I immediately slipped the items into my imaginary storage space inside Beelzebub's Predation and left for my temporary home in this world—a small house near Spencer Gilpin's.

There, I set up the console. The familiar jungle-themed introduction played, soft at first, then swelling in grandeur, perfectly matching the iconic sequence I remembered from the movie.Smiling, I selected Dr. Smolder Bravestone and started the game.

A sense of anticipation filled the room and then distant animal calls began echoing through out the room.

For a normal human, this moment would have caused panic—but not me. After all, I knew exactly what was about to happen—And I was already prepared for traveling to the jumanji world.

Then, almost imperceptibly at first, a gentle pull tugged at me.

Tick. Tick. Tick.

The pull strengthened, and the console's light enveloped me like a cocoon of energy.

I let it guide me, not resisting.

With a soft, almost musical whoosh, I felt myself lifted off the floor.

The room blurred. Walls, furniture, even the faint scent of dust and paint dissolved into a whirl of green, brown, and gold.

The next thing I knew, I was landing.

I hit the ground in a perfect, cinematic pose—knees bent, one fist lightly touching the jungle floor, chest forward, head tilted slightly. Then I rolled back to my feet with a grin, brushing off imaginary dust.

Unlike the canonical players, I had come fully in my physical body. This world couldn't overwrite my essence—I was simply too powerful. I could tell it had already noticed the abnormality in me; enraged, predatory noises came from the surrounding bushes.

I think it's aware of my abnormality and decided to crank the difficulty to maximum.

but it didn't know that I'm not the type to play by rules either.

So I grew bat-like wings using my enhanced biokinesis, beating against the humid air. With a single push, I lifted effortlessly into the sky, soaring at a speed that nearly tore the air apart.

Rivers twisted far below me.I angled toward the cliff where the Jaguar's Eye awaited.

The golden glow of the relic came into view, blazing through the jungle haze. I soared straight toward it, my wings slicing the mist like blades of living steel. No swing, no leap, no trap could slow me down.

I landed softly before the pedestal, wings folding behind me with a quiet rustle. The jungle's chaos raged on—predators howled in frustration, traps misfired in vain—but I didn't care.

The Jaguar's Eye was mine.I used Beelzebub to devour it whole.

Instantly, I gained a staggering 50,000 U.P.F., raising my total to 52,180 U.P.F.

I asked athena to spend a portion of my U.P.F.reserves, using them with Omni Genesis to reshape this entire world into my personal dimension.

> "To complete the necessary action, it requires 30,000 U.P.F."

My U.P.F. reserves fell to 22,180 but i didn't care.

The entire Jumanji world began collapsing, and Alex Veerke was ejected back to the moment he had disappeared—just like in canon. He was probably the most confused of all, since he didn't even know who had completed the game.

This is the strategy designed by Athena, maximizing my interests.

I could have used Beelzebub directly after acquiring the Jumanji catridge and console, but the resistance against assimilation would have been enormous and demanded massive reserves of U.P.F.

That is why I chose to play the game.

I then returned to the real world immediately. There was nothing else I wanted left in that world except for the jumanji world itself.

The personal dimension may take some time to fully integrate with my core, so there's no rush in exploring it yet.
