Chapter 244: Raikou and Entei's Acknowledgment
We turned our attention to Gold and Kris. Compared to the other legendary Pokémon spaces, the space Gold and Kris were in was definitely the most comfortable.
It was a plain with plenty of sunshine, vegetation, and water. Apart from being a bit small, it was a pretty good place.
The small size also meant that the legendary Pokémon were densely packed. Gold and Kris had only been there a short while when they were already surrounded by a group of legendary Pokémon.
"Uh... everyone, you guys do your thing, don't worry about us too much." Gold was a little nervous seeing such a large group.
"Mewtwo, Raikou, Entei, Dialga, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Reshiram, Zekrom, Xerneas. What's going on with all these legendary Pokémon? Are they going to do something to us?" Kris said with some concern.
"Don't be afraid," Mewtwo said telepathically. "We're just curious how you got into this space."
Seeing that the legendary Pokémon meant no harm, Gold said directly, "We just passed through an Ultra Wormhole."
Mewtwo asked, "Can you get out? If so, can you take us with you?"
Kris regained some courage and said, "We can't go out right now. We don't have Solgaleo. Only Ryan's Solgaleo can cross Ultra Space. We were forced to come here to hide from a ferocious Pokémon. We're sorry to have bothered you."
Mewtwo replied, "Not at all. Can you tell us about what's happening outside? And what about that Ryan? When will he come?"
Gold said in a deep voice, "We're not sure either. After being attacked by that Pokémon, Ryan fainted. We don't know how he is."
The legendary Pokémon looked at each other. Mewtwo asked, "So, you don't know when he'll come to pick you up?"
"Yes. But we believe he will come, unless he's dead," Gold said. Kris nodded in agreement.
Mewtwo: "I hope so. Can you tell us about what's happening outside? To be honest, we've been trapped here for a hundred years, and we really want to get out."
"Trapped here for a hundred years?!" Gold clearly grasped something and said, "What happened? Can you tell us first? Don't worry, we'll tell you about what's happening outside too."
Mewtwo sat down, and the other legendary Pokémon followed suit. Mewtwo: "Actually, this space of ours was originally a complete world, but one day, something happened that we couldn't bear."
Mewtwo paused, then continued, "It was a monster, an incredibly powerful monster! We fought desperately, but we were still defeated. Many legendary Pokémon died, leaving only a few of us. Then the world shattered, and that's how it became like this. Finally, a Pokémon named Necrozma pulled our shattered space into its own, which is how we survived. But we can never get out; we're trapped inside, slowly waiting to die."
After listening, Gold glanced at Dialga and said, "Isn't Dialga known as the Temporal Pokémon? Why didn't you let it take you through time?"
Mewtwo replied, "It's useless. The world is shattered, and our origins and domains have suffered fatal damage. We're lucky if we retain even a tenth of our original strength. Besides, this place is currently in a fragmented state; using our domains or origins will only accelerate the dissipation of space."
Gold nodded, understanding the situation. He and Kris then informed the legendary Pokémon about the situation outside. The legendary Pokémon understood, and their expectations for Ryan grew even higher.
Only by escaping could they gradually recover their strength and have a chance to take revenge on that being!
In the following days, Gold and Kris began a life of intensive training under the guidance of these legendary Pokémon.
Half a month later, Gold and Kris officially began their battle against Raikou and Entei. That's right, they wanted to capture Raikou and Entei.
After all, these legendary Pokémon couldn't use their full power right now, making this the best time to capture them. Moreover, having trained under them for so long, the two were confident they could defeat them.
"Typhlosion, Flamethrower!" Gold said.
Typhlosion spewed a large amount of flames from its back towards Raikou, who roared and unleashed a burst of lightning, directly blocking Typhlosion's Flamethrower. Although Raikou couldn't use its primal power on a large scale, its strength was still not to be underestimated.

However, Raikou's feet began to crackle with electricity, allowing it to dodge Typhlosion's attack. But just then, Typhlosion transformed into a wheel of fire with Flame Wheel, slamming into Raikou and sending it flying.
As Raikou retreated, Typhlosion seized the opportunity to unleash its Lava Plume, black smoke mixed with sparks striking the airborne Raikou, engulfing it. When the smoke cleared, tiny flames occasionally erupted from Raikou's body; it had been burned.
Raikou stopped and nodded to Gold: Gold had managed to push it to this point; he had enough power to earn its respect.
Seeing Raikou stop, Gold was overjoyed and threw a Poké Ball at it, successfully capturing it.
Gold then released Raikou, and the nearby Pokémon immediately helped it recover. Meanwhile, Kris, seeing that Raikou and Gold's duel had ended, stepped forward and said, "Entei, let's begin."
Entei calmly stepped forward and gestured to Kris that they could start.
"Go, Meganium. Razor Leaf," Kris said.
Entei shook its head, and a burst of flame destroyed all the Razor Leaf blades. However, the Razor Leaf was merely a cover; the hidden Leech Seeds beneath had already landed on Entei. Entei was about to break free from the vines growing from the Leech Seeds when a Grass Knot tripped it, causing it to fall heavily to the ground.
Mewtwo: "Haha, that's Virizion's signature move, isn't it? Entei, you didn't lose unfairly."
Entei instantly unleashed a burst of flame, burning all the vines. Somewhat impressed, it was successfully captured by Kris.
Although it wasn't very formal, and they hadn't used their full strength, Raikou and Entei acknowledged Gold and Kris's strength and willingly followed them.
