Chapter 241: The Frozen Kyurem
Latios began, "Our world was originally quite peaceful, with humans and Pokémon living in harmony. Until one day, a terrible being came to this world and completely destroyed it. Latias smiled bitterly, "Where can we leave to? We don't have the ability to travel through space. We also want to fight that terrifying thing to the death, but where can we find it?"

"My name is Sapphire, from Littleroot Town in the Hoenn region. This is Ruby, from Goldenrod City in the Johto region," Sapphire said.

Unfortunately, we were attacked by a very ferocious Pokémon, and we're all scattered across various Ultra Spaces. Our purpose in coming here was to bring all the Ultra Beasts from Ultra Space into our world, but we didn't expect to find legendary Pokémon like you in this dimension."
"Leave here?!" Latios and Latias's eyes lit up instantly.
"Do you have a way out?" Latias asked anxiously.
"We don't have one," Sapphire said.
Latios and Latias were immediately disappointed, but Ruby's words cheered them up again.
"But one of us, named Ryan, has a Solgaleo, which allows him to freely enter and exit Ultra Space. But we're scattered, so we can only wait for him to come and find us. Then we can leave directly," Ruby said.
"Ryan? Why does that name sound so familiar?" Latios asked in confusion.

Ruby and Sapphire recalled their Pokémon and boarded Latios and Latias. Latios and Latias took off immediately, flying rapidly across the sea.
They dared not fly too high, as the space above was a rift, and a single misstep could be fatal.
The higher they flew, the lower the temperature became, and Ruby and Sapphire couldn't help but shiver.
After a while, Latios and Latias brought Ruby and Sapphire to an ice surface. Ruby and Sapphire dismounted from Latios and Latias, who then transformed back into their human forms. Latios said with some admiration, "Such speed, and you two didn't have any adverse reactions. It seems you're quite strong."
Ruby and Sapphire exchanged a glance and smiled wryly, "It's alright. We've ridden even faster legendary Pokémon, so we're somewhat used to it. Ryan's Reshiram's acceleration isn't something everyone can handle."

The legendary Pokémon appearing on the ice were: Latios, Latias, Kyogre, Suicune, Lugia, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, and the immobilized Kyurem—nine in total.
The legendary Pokémon discussed the matter and decided to wait here for Ryan's arrival. With his help, they would return to his world, and in the meantime, they would properly train the two trainers' Pokémon!
Thus, Ruby and Sapphire's arduous journey began. Under the guidance of the many legendary Pokémon, Ruby and Sapphire embarked on a difficult training journey. It's no wonder the legendary Pokémon were so eager; after all, they could only slowly fade away in this space. They finally had two trainers to work with, so of course they wanted to make them stronger so they would have worthy training partners!
