"Jonathan, shall we talk more about your young master?" Sara asked, stopping suddenly in the garden path.
Earlier, after Luca had left abruptly, Sara had quickly decided to execute her plan: she needed to find out what she had missed in Luca's life that had forced him to become a mafia. Though she knew it was his grandfather's influence, she felt there was something more.
She had already taken proactive steps, inviting Remo and Marco home for dinner and sending Luca a list of items she needed, asking him to purchase them, a move to keep him outside of the house.
"Pardon me, Madam? What exactly do you want to learn about the young master?" Jonathan asked, turning to face her with a confused expression. He was clearly unsure about discussing Luca's private life.
"Since when has he been in the business of the mafia?" Sara asked straightforwardly, her voice low but piercing. "Did it happen right after his grandfather died, or is it even before that?"
