standing Infront of the 6 reincarnators with a scarred body, multiple gashes across it, stands Cain, at the last day of the test.
he addresses them with a weirdly lighthearted tone
"have you ever heard of murphy's law..?"
"whose law..?"
"god i hate gen z.. for your information, Murphy's law dictates that everything that can go wrong will go wrong, which is why i, the weakest reincarnator am currently facing the six strongest of the elite class, while the rest of my class is dealing with the rest of you lot."
'so he's older than us..'
that's as much as Leon could infer from his way of speaking, this had also confirmed to both him and the other reincarnators that he's a reincarnator himself.
"so what does that mean for you?"
chuckling again, he answers with the same light hearted tone
"it means.. my plan worked. weather its a good thing or not is debatable.. but oh well."
-6 DAYS PRIOR-
by now, everyone had become looser, even ambrosia. who actually expresses her annoyance instead of ignoring everybody.
standing around the campfire, they finally get to business, cutting the bullshit.
"so what's the plan?"
Cain, who already has an explanation prepared, answers quickly.
"there are two ways for us to pass this test, the first is that the other class is fully eliminated. the second is to survive for the next week. even if the other class is still here"
"but there's a bit of an issue.. were weaker, and they know it as well, and unlike us.. their probably not as comfortable, meaning their very likely if not gauranteed to attack us."
this time its murphy who asks, his voice filled with a bit of arrogance and anticipation
"so what do you suggest? we attack them before they do so to us?"
"not quite, for now, we wait. you see were already prepped for long term, so instead. we stall them out, let them waste energy and on the final day when their exhausted is when we attack."
Olivia, who had thought of her own argument speaks up
"alright.. but their powerhouses are still a problem, what about them?"
"well.. the plan is simple, what we want is the best grade possible, meaning if we cant eliminate them, we want to take out as many as we can, so what well do is il lure them out, since i have a reason for them to seek me out."
"while i stall them. you will attack the rest of the class, by the time you guys are done the test should be finished, and we will be teleported back to the port, hopefully with everyone in our class still not eliminated, and at worst only me eliminated."
after a bit more of the discussion, and determining the details, they settle their plan, only one issue left unanswered and it was caster who had brought it up
"how do we actually eliminate them..?"
"i have a suspicion actually.. the island is still filled with monsters, and there's a real chance we could die, so its likely they had a spell put on us that teleports us back once we get too injured.."
"so try to kill them? got it."
with their plan now settled, they continue being carefree, atleast on the surface. each of them wary of any ambushes, their vulnerability but a facade.
by the third day, they had a few minor skirmishes with monsters, but not a sight of the other class, at the moment, Cain and Olivia are having a.. unique, conversation. not much for the other classmates to join in
"so i heard humans have alcohols made with other things than fruits.. what's it like?"
apparently, both are alcoholics, but elves usually drink alcohols made by fruits, like various wines, this is due to the fact they live around the world tree, making it harder for them to get things like rice and wheat, and whatever other alcohol there is is usually snatched up by others
"there's many.. sake for example is lighter, and you would usually drink them in small cups all in one gulp, others like whiskey are heavier and have a richer taste. beer is also cheaper and mostly drank by commoners, but that isn't to say its bad."
soon enough he teaches her about cocktails and the such, her eyes sparkling like she had just learned she can fly
"you have to get me some when we get back!"
"of course"
at some point it had gotten to the point where Camelia had to pry Cain away, since she wanted him to join her and caster in the pool
"what's so interesting about alcohol! drugs are better now get. in!"
chucking him into the water, he falls directly on the relaxed Delilah, lost in the feeling of the water
splash!
"CAMELIA! GET OVER HERE!"
getting a good laugh out of it, Camelia ends up getting beaten up black and blue on the ground kneeling being forced to say sorry over and over again
'sucks to suck!'
laughing his ass off, Cain only calms down after a sharp glare from Delilah
'i didn't see anything.. infact I'm not even here right now, I'm in my tent..'
on the fourth day they had went out of the waterfall, actually going over to the beach to sunbathe, Cain and Delilah playing volleyball against Arwen and caster
it went without saying Delilah had cheated using her telekinesis and Arwen with his wind spirit magic, until they had went way overboard to the point it was just her and caster using their superhuman strength to hit the ball back and forth
leaving no room for the two measly mages but to go back to the water, to appreciate the beauty of the sun.. and definitely not the beautiful lady's.. not at all
well at least before Olivia used spirit magic to douse them all in water, forcing the incredibly not so talented water mage Cain to waste half his mana on a large wave, taking down both Arwen Olivia and murphy at the same time
Ambrosia Herself was chilling under an umbrella made by Cain, staring daggers at anyone even attempting to get close to her while their even a little bit wet
'lady doesn't like the sun and water.. well actually she doesn't seem to like anything at all for that matter..'
Murphy on the side is building a sand castle with Chris, well before it was destroyed by Camelia who was promptly chased by a crazed Murphy
the other five students were back at the camp guarding it, accompanied by Casters contracted familiar lurking in the waterfall, ready to alert them of an attack.
which didn't take very long, considering they were easy bait forcing the ten of them to promptly run back with all their might

a goal, its very simple really, set a goal for your mc early on, lets take mine for example being to beat the other reincarnators, this makes it more interesting for the viewers and gives you a sense of direction instead of wandering what to work towards. its uper simple.
