on the table, stands two separate chains made of black metal, wrapping each of the chains one each of his arms Cain mutters "status."

'that took so long.. but damn was it worth it. i even figured out that the buff corresponds with the functions and material of the item so i used black metal, which is known to absorb blood to repair itself which synergizes really well with the ring'
deciding to test out the functions, the chains which were originally wrapped around his arms to his shoulders elongated, dropping on the ground with a satisfying cling as the sickle materialized at the end of it (pic of the weapon in comment)

heyo yalls!
todays note is one i find personally quite important, and that is how many chapters should i publish my book with?
you see, i recently noticed a lot of authors publish their novel with 1 chapter and release more of them as time goes by, which is quite bad!
for 3 reasons, the first is that nobody will read your novel with 1 chapter, best case scenario? they add it to collection and stockpile it, most wont even bother to look at it, so having a larger chapter count on release will help a lot(i suggest 20 but once again I'm a lazy and impatient bum so i did 5 yes I'm a hypocrite sue me)
the second reason is that it gives the author time to redo his work when necessary, you see. when i first wrote chaos born(the original of this) it was only after that i realized just how bad it was
and i wanted to rework it really badly, but i already released it, so what else can i do now? its one of the main reasons i did the rework in the first place.
or maybe you made a mistake in one of your chapters maybe you wrote something that made no sense and now you need to fix it, releasing your novel after writing the first few chapters helps you make sure you didn't make any mistakes.
the third and final reason is that its very nice for the readers, you see. most readers binge read when they first start a novel, for example say i start a novel that i seem to enjoy, ill read like 40 chapters before i need to do something else, and then laze it out for like a week or so to read it later, so having 20 chapters from the beginning will not only make it nicer for your readers, it also gives them a better idea of weather they even want to continue reading or not.
