Jasmine's POV
Helena's call ended with a soft click that seemed to echo louder than anything else in the car.
For a moment, none of us spoke.
The rain kept hitting the windshield like impatient fingers tapping, tapping, tapping… almost as if the world itself was urging us to move, to act, to stop waiting for Lucien to make the next strike.
Ares finally inhaled deeply. "We start tonight."
I nodded. My heart was still pounding from everything Helena revealed, but something stronger pushed through the fear… determination.
"We need evidence." I said quietly. "Real evidence. Not rumors. Not assumptions. Something that can tear his plans apart."
Ares looked at me. "Helena mentioned the files she has. But she also said we need access from our end."
"Yes." I murmured. "Which means someone has to get inside his network."
Ares frowned. "You mean…?"
"Yes." I turned toward him fully. "Me."
He shook his head instantly. "Jasmine… absolutely not."
"Ares."
