Inside the office, David saw Luoqi sitting in the chair and greeted him.
"Sit down, David, make yourself at home."
Seeing David was a bit reserved, Luoqi smiled and spoke, motioning for David to sit across from him.
"Uh, you mentioned you could give me a job before, could I ask what kind it is?" David asked.
David still didn't know what Luoqi meant by 'job', but Luoqi had previously said it would allow him to not waste his Sandevistan, so he believed it was the kind of work he imagined.
But David was still a bit nervous; he hoped to use his Sandevistan to perform various exciting missions and become a legendary figure, not sit in an office.
He was a little worried Luoqi had just said it casually at the time.
"I want you to join our Special Operations squad. As for the work content, it could be anything.
Stealing, intelligence gathering, assassination, robbery, military operations, anything is possible.
In short, it's no different from the mercenaries in Night City, the only difference is that you only serve me."

David walked into the Special Operations Department with a nervous heart.

Although Rebecca had to look up at David in front of him, her aura was not weak at all. After all, David looked quite green and lacked any oppressive presence.

Jack took out a chip and handed it to David. This was a training chip Luoqi had 'acquired' from Arasaka.
Although the chip wasn't high-quality, it was perfect for a rookie like David who was just starting out.

David took the chip and immersed himself in the chip's scenario.
"Jack, is there a mission?"
Rebecca heard Jack say he would take David on his first mission and asked.
She had officially joined the Special Operations Department a few days ago and hadn't been on a mission yet. For her and Jack, this was also their first mission.
