It seems like you've provided a segment from a story, likely a fanfiction based on the world of One Piece, and you want me to rewrite it. I'll follow the instructions you've given me to improve the text, maintain the character's personalities, and use the correct terminology from the One Piece universe.

Water Seven

"I'll take care of finding the shipwright," Sanji declared, a swirl of hearts in his eyes. "I'll find the most beautiful girl for the job!"

"No way! Our shipwright needs to be a giant, at least twenty feet tall!" Luffy shouted, causing the rest of us to groan.

Usopp sighed, "He's not gonna fit on the ship, Luffy."

"Who cares if it's a guy or a girl, as long as they can fix the ship," Zoro grumbled, half-asleep.

"I'd rather have a guy," Wyper chimed in, earning him a skeptical look from everyone. "That's not what I mean! It's just that if we get another woman on board, the cook's gonna hoard all the food for them, and the rest of us will starve!"

A collective gasp went around the crew, and we all nodded in agreement. "A man it is!" we declared in unison.

"What the hell?! You can't just gang up on me like that!" Sanji yelled, stomping his foot.

"We're here!" Steve's voice rang out from the front of the ship.

We all rushed to the bow and stood in awe. Before us lay Water Seven, a sprawling city with multiple tiers built on a giant fountain. It was breathtaking. While we all stared, Nami quickly distributed our spending money.

A man in a small dinghy rowed up to us and called out, "If you're pirates, you should dock around the back!"

We noticed that a large part of the city was submerged. Robin explained that Water Seven was built on a sinking island, causing the lower parts of the city to be slowly swallowed by the sea.

"This is quickly becoming my favorite stop," I said, grinning at the unique scenery.

We moored the Adventure at a small peninsula just outside the city proper. Once Sanji assured everyone that nobody would attack us since we were paying customers, Luffy and Usopp immediately tried to take off.

"Hold it, you two!" Nami snapped, grabbing both of them by the collars. "You're coming with me. We need to see this 'Iceberg' guy about fixing the ship, and we need to trade in our gold first."

"I'm coming too," I told her, wanting to see the city.

Before we left, Steve and Zoro agreed to stand guard. Chopper and Robin were going to do some shopping, and Sanji grabbed Wyper to help him get supplies. "I've gotta get food. Ugly Duckling, you're coming with me!"

"Who're you calling an ugly duckling, you idiot!" Wyper shot back.

"If the wings fit!" Sanji taunted, and the two of them started arguing. We just walked off and left them to it.

"You sure it was smart to leave them like that?" Nami asked, a hint of concern in her voice.

"They'll be fine... probably," I replied with a shrug.

"Alright then, let's get to the exchange," Nami said, getting us back on track.

Usopp suggested we should visit the shipyard first, but Nami explained that carrying a heavy case of gold made us more of a target than a few cases of paper bills.

"Besides, paper money is way lighter," I told him.

"Exactly," Nami said with a mischievous grin. "You and Steve will be the ones carrying it, after all."

We reached the city entrance and found a place with a sign for 'Bull Rentals.' Apparently, they rented out creatures called Yagara Bulls to pull you around the canals. Since the city was mostly water, we needed a ride.

"You have four people, so two Yagara Bulls should be enough," the salesman said. "But with that heavy bag, you might need a third."

"Two will be cheaper, and we'll make it work," Nami insisted.

"Cheapskate," I muttered under my breath, but she just gave me a pointed look.

We picked out our Yagara Bulls, which looked like giant seahorses. One of them licked Luffy, and that was apparently enough for him to decide it was the one we were taking.

When the salesman learned our bag was full of gold, he tried to raise the price, but Nami quickly put him in his place. He told us we needed to head to the exchange in the city center.

I rode with Luffy and the heavy bag of gold, while Nami and Usopp rode together.

"This is so much fun! These things are awesome! Can we keep it?" Luffy asked, bouncing excitedly.

"No, we can't keep it, and sit still before you fall in and drown!" I yelled over the rush of the water.

The Yagara Bulls were smart, knowing all the shortcuts, and got us to the market faster than we would have on our own. Once we got there, Luffy stopped at every food stand, eating everything in sight. While he was busy gorging himself, I noticed a lot of people walking around wearing masks. What an odd fashion choice, I thought.

We had to take a water elevator to get to another level of the city. Luffy loved it since everything used water to work. We eventually reached the exchange and handed over our gold. The man went to get us the Beli, but Nami was suspicious.

"Listen up," she said, her voice turning cold. "I have three things to say. First, these two combined have a bounty of 180 million Beli!" She said, gesturing to Luffy and me. We both beamed with pride. "Second, I don't like your offer. And third, if you try to lie to me again, my friend here will string you up right here and now!"

The man quickly scribbled a new number and went to get the money. "300 million Beli!" he announced.

We divided the cash into three equal parts of 100 million Beli. Luffy, Usopp, and I each took a briefcase. After Luffy nearly dropped his into the water, Usopp was forced to carry two cases to avoid any more accidents. We then headed to Dock One to meet Mr. Iceberg.

"So, do we just walk in?" Usopp asked.

Luffy tried to jump the fence, but a guy who looked a lot like Usopp pushed him back. "Let's talk outside," the man said, jumping over to meet us. "Sorry, employees only on this side. What can I do for you folks?"

"Hi, Usopp!" Luffy said with a smile.

"I'm right here, you idiot!" Usopp yelled.

"Seriously, Luffy? You can't even recognize your own crew?" I groaned, rubbing my forehead.

Nami explained that we wanted to meet Iceberg and handed the man a letter. "Ah, a recommendation from Mrs. Kokoro," he said.

"You know Iceberg?" Nami asked.

"Of course! Mr. Iceberg is the mayor of Water Seven. He's also the president of the Galley-La Company and manager of the Sea Train. He's a very busy man," he said, stretching. "Where's your ship?"

"Over on the peninsula, that way," Luffy pointed.

"I'll go take a look," he said, "That way you'll have a price in mind for when you meet Iceberg."

The man suddenly broke into a sprint, running straight up the side of a building.

"How in the world did he run so fast?" I whispered in shock.

We all stood there with our mouths hanging open. "Don't worry, he does that all the time. He's a foreman of Dock One. His name's Kaku," a middle-aged man in a suit told us.

Rose's POV

I was relaxing in the crow's nest when I heard some noise down below. I looked down and saw a group of men sneaking up on Zoro.

"May I help you gentlemen?" I called down, waking him up.

They looked pretty surprised, probably thinking it was just Zoro they had to deal with.

Zoro opened his eyes and didn't look happy. "Who the hell are you?"

"We're bounty hunters, and we're here to take both your bounties! We're the Franky Family! People tremble at the mention of our name!" a man with a weird, flat haircut shouted.

I jumped off the mast, taking down two men as I landed. "Hawk Wave!" A roar echoed from Zoro's chest as he swung his three swords, a gust of wind blowing the rest of the men off their feet.

They quickly got back up and charged at us again.

"Just get them off the ship!" I told him.

"Fine," he grumbled, pushing the back of his swords against the back of mine.

"Double Tatsumaki!" the whirlwind we created blew the men out to sea and off our ship.

"How boring," Zoro mumbled, returning to his spot to sleep.

"Stay awake, and things like this won't happen," I told him, but he just ignored me.

I climbed back up to the crow's nest. Another hour passed when I heard talking below me again. "Who the hell are you!?" Zoro yelled.

I jumped down and almost broke through the deck, finding a guy who looked a lot like Usopp standing there.

"Calm down. I'm here to inspect your ship. Your friends sent me," he said.

"Oh, okay then. Have a look around," I told the man, standing back to let him work.

He took his time, inspecting every corner of the ship. He even had to pull up a few floorboards to get a good look at the underside.

"Oh dear," he said, his voice full of concern.

That doesn't sound good.

Steve's POV

The man introduced himself as Iceberg, and the woman with him was his secretary, Kalifa. They told us they had already scoped us out and knew all about our crew and our bounties. The man was the mayor of the city, but he was pretty relaxed, canceling a dozen appointments right in front of us.

"So this is the guy that old lady talked about?" Luffy said. "He doesn't seem like a very good mayor."

"Guess not," Nami agreed.

Kalifa kicked at us for being insulting, but I pulled Usopp and myself to the ground just in time to avoid her attack. She quickly apologized for the outburst, and things calmed down. Nami gave Iceberg the letter from Kokoro. He offered to fix our ship and give us a tour of his shipyard.

"Usopp, we're going in! Don't forget your money!" I yelled.

"AHHH!" we heard him scream. We turned around and saw that we were being robbed in broad daylight.

A man with a pigeon on his shoulder told us to wait. Another man jumped down from a bridge and threw the thieves off our Yagara Bulls, bringing our money back to us. The man with the pigeon said this guy worked for him. The pigeon then spoke, "You tried to use these people's money to pay your debts! You're despicable, Paulie!"

A ventriloquist.

Kalifa explained that the men who stole our money were a group called the Franky Family, a local gang of bounty hunters and ship dismantlers.

"They didn't seem too tough," I told Iceberg.

"They might not have been, but you should never underestimate Franky himself," he replied.

After Paulie returned our money, he got into a fight with Lucci, the ventriloquist. The two of them had a brawl in the street until Iceberg managed to get them to settle down.

The second Paulie saw Nami, he freaked out. "Put on some clothes, you indecent girl!"

"Hey, back off, buddy! She can wear what she wants!" I told him, stepping in front of her.

Iceberg took us inside and gave us a grand tour of his shipyard. He was incredibly popular with all the workers. Luffy was so impressed that he asked the man if he would be our shipwright.

He told Luffy no, but Luffy asked a different question. "If you won't do it, do you mind if I find someone who works here to come with us?"

"I don't know if you'll find anyone willing, but if you do, you're welcome to take them," Iceberg replied with a smile.

The long-nosed man from before suddenly landed in front of us.

"Did you check the ship?" Nami asked. "Where did Usopp go, anyway? I guess it doesn't matter; he left the money."

"Luffy, get over here!" I yelled. "So, give it to us straight. How much is this gonna cost us?"

"Your ship has significant damage. You must have been on quite the journey."

"We have," Luffy said. "So how much is it gonna cost? We have plenty of money! How long will it take to fix?"

"The truth is... we can't fix your ship. Even if we patched it up to the best of our abilities, you wouldn't make it to the next island."

What? This can't be the end. You're not going to die... are you, Merry?
