Two days later… Kayson's funeral was held as scheduled, not far from Hagrid's Hut, the entire staff of Hogwarts and the other two schools politely arrived.
Kayson, inside the coffin, found the confined feeling unbearable, so he asked Cedric to help him use the Undetectable Extension Charm to create a three-bedroom, one-living room space.
The funeral was nothing special; if anything, it was just that there were a lot of people. Other than that, it was the same as all the funerals Kayson had observed in his childhood.
The only difference was that the priest was replaced by a Wizard, and this Wizard was none other than the head Wizard, Dumbledore.
"And so it is, Professor Kayson has left us forever…"
"His contributions to the field of Alchemy are unmatched by anyone…"
"As a member of the European Alchemy Association… I feel profound regret."
"I don't know… what will become of our Alchemy world… without Professor Kayson…"
Dumbledore was in full swing, and when he reached the emotional peak, he even touched the corner of his eye with his finger, forcing out a few tears in a feigned display of sorrow.
At this moment, Professor Snape, standing on the tower, saw that the time was right. He casually pulled out a bottle of Potion from his pocket and walked out of the tower, transforming into a ball of black mist and appearing directly at the very front of the funeral.
"I have a way to save him," he said, pursing his lips with a hint of embarrassment.
Dumbledore subtly rolled his eyes, while Kayson, inside the coffin, heard him clearly. He quickly climbed out of his three-bedroom, one-living room space, and then pulled back the wooden board that had been covering the exit of his three-bedroom, one-living room space at the bottom of the coffin, waiting like Sleeping Beauty for Professor Snape's Potion.
"Uh…" Professor Snape pushed open the coffin, looking at Kayson, who was feigning death in the coffin, and pursed his lips. He had a strange feeling, an indescribable sense of faint disgust…
Finally, he closed his eyes and steeled himself, pulling out the stopper of the Potion bottle and pouring it all down Kayson's throat.
The speed was astonishing; even the few Professors standing at the very front didn't clearly see Professor Snape's movements before the Potion was poured into Kayson's mouth.
They quickly realized what Professor Snape had done and were about to intervene, but then they heard a coughing sound from inside the coffin.
Kayson… was alive… just like that, so casually.
That afternoon, in Kayson's office, he was sitting on the sofa, watching Cedric wiggling his butt while assembling mechanical joints, and eating a mountain of nutritional supplements sent by the students and Professors.
"Professor, since Professor Snape has cured you, shouldn't you be teaching classes again?" Cedric asked while polishing a joint.
"You don't understand, do you? Although Dumbledore knew about my feigned illness plan, and my plan was ruined by him, turning into a passive feigned death, I only lost face, but Dumbledore lost a real Alchemy Professor, albeit temporarily."
"But if he wants Hogwarts to continue classes, he'll have to spend real money to hire another Alchemy Master to teach. As for when I'll return to teaching…"
"It depends on my mood," Kayson grumbled.
"But Professor Dumbledore seems to be planning to teach us himself. I heard he's already preparing teaching materials…" Cedric said idly.
"Which class is my next one?" Kayson suddenly asked.
"Uh… the fourth-year class, in two minutes. What's wrong, Professor?" Cedric said, looking towards the sofa, only to find Kayson had already gotten up and started putting on his clothes, muttering as he dressed: "What the hell does Dumbledore know about Alchemy?!"
"Can Dumbledore even teach students well?"
"In academia, he sees me as a frog in a well, but in education, he sees me even more as an ephemera seeing the blue sky!"
"Dumbledore is an amateur…"
Cedric's nose twitched, and he saw Professor Kayson thumping down the stairs, rushing away.
"Hello, students, due to your Professor Kayson's illness, I will temporarily be substituting for your Alchemy classes from now on." Dumbledore began his opening remarks as he walked into the classroom.
The Little Wizards below the podium were clearly not happy; their faces, looking as if they had seen a dead person, were so vivid that it seemed as if the substituting Dumbledore was not Dumbledore, but Professor Snape.
Dumbledore was not troubled; he simply turned around and wrote on the blackboard: "The foundation of Alchemy is the transformation of matter. I noticed that Professor Kayson taught you a transformation method using something called a 'Mysterious Cauldron' that can transform various elements. So today, let us review the basics of Alchemy. I will give you a simple task: transform any element into sweet food. Students who succeed will receive…"
The next moment, before Dumbledore could finish speaking, a black shadow suddenly darted out from behind the stairs at the back of the podium, launching a flying kick directly at Dumbledore.
"Enjoy the righteous flying kick from the Alchemy Professor! Take that!"
After kicking Dumbledore away, Kayson stood back on the podium.
"Someone take the Principal away."
Soon, two Little Wizards stood up from their seats, helped Dumbledore up, and escorted him out.
"I'm here to teach… What are you doing…" Dumbledore mumbled dazedly, but ultimately could not escape his fate of being escorted out.
"Alright, students, let's continue discussing the issue of productivity and production relations. After this topic, I will personally teach you how to manually create an assembly line from scratch… Trust me, you will need this skill…"
The one-hour class quickly ended. After Kayson called out "class dismissed," he vanished with a bang, returning to his office, where he saw Hagrid, dressed in colorful clothes and holding two bottles of good wine.
"You're… here for something, aren't you~" He gave Hagrid an aunt-like smile.
