"What do you want to do?"
"Ahem... The Triwizard Tournament is going to be held next semester, and the first task involves Dragons. I need you to create Alchemy tools that will allow us to control the Dragons," Dumbledore said slowly.
"...Wouldn't that be cheating?" Kayson reacted and asked.
"This is a tradition of the Triwizard Tournament. Not only us, but Beauxbatons and Durmstrang will also do this. However, we at Hogwarts still have a step ahead of them; they won't know the true competition items until just before the match," Dumbledore explained, trying to justify himself.
"Oh... alright. As a part of Hogwarts, I will, but controlling a Dragon... I don't have a life, do I?" Kayson said with a frown.
"Can't you make some useful Alchemy devices? Like mind control?"
Kayson stared at Dumbledore with dead fish eyes: "When have those things you mentioned ever appeared in Alchemy textbooks?"
"Asking me is useless; I don't understand Alchemy. Alas, this old man is useless, good for nothing. As Principal, I can't even help a Professor. I might as well find a tall tower and die there; it would save air, alas..." Dumbledore's body suddenly hunched over, and he walked away helplessly.
"Heh heh..." Kayson placed the sofa he had 'borrowed' from Sirius's house according to his aesthetic preferences, then sat on it comfortably. Not long after, Dumbledore returned.
"Since we can't control the Dragons, strengthening our contestants shouldn't be a problem, right?" Dumbledore asked dryly.
"It's my duty," Kayson said with a smile.
"Then it's no problem," Dumbledore stretched, then walked away.
For Kayson, the rest of the time was pure enjoyment. For example, he would prepare a basin of hot water for a comfortable foot soak, then find a well-ventilated corner to exercise, and finally, after working up a sweat, take a refreshing shower.
He would then lie on the bed and fall asleep comfortably. As for homework or lesson plans, there was no need to worry about them at all. Those things were like water in a wet sponge; they wouldn't flow out if left alone, but if you squeezed, there would always be some.
Until the next day... after class.
The Little Wizards were very dedicated to their studies, how dedicated... well, they even followed him to his office after class.
"Professor, guess what I came to you for?" A Slytherin Little Wizards appeared before Kayson, sailing in on a boat.
"What's up? Finally succeeded in confessing, and you came to me for advice?" Kayson looked at the fourth-year Slytherin Pure-blood Wizard in front of him, named Flynnse. Some time ago, Kayson noticed he was always exchanging glances with a half-blood Witch named Aisha from Hufflepuff. Kayson, being nosy, asked about it, and then... then he was passively made into a strategist.
Flynnse showed a shy smile: "I'm a bit unsure, or rather, she doesn't quite trust me. She always feels that my confession to her is just for fun, not sincere."
Kayson raised an eyebrow: "Why does she think that?"
"She thinks that after I graduate, I will definitely accept an arranged marriage by my family. Actually, this is a stereotype; not all Pure-blood families arrange marriages. As for whether my future will... I don't know yet," Flynnse said awkwardly.
"I'll give you fair advice. If Aisha didn't ask anything and accepted directly, then don't be coy. It's great for you two young people to enjoy the sweetness of love while you're young. But since she asked, this matter becomes serious."
"Since she asked directly, it means she wants to date you with marriage in mind. So, have you ever thought about marrying her and being with her for life?" Kayson asked.
"Of course, I have! I'm not some scoundrel, am I?"
"Then what is your family's attitude towards you? Can you withstand your family's pressure?" Kayson continued to ask.
"Uh... attitude... gentle? Most of them don't interfere with me much. They aren't bad people; after all, not all Pure-bloods are Death Eaters. Pressure... I'm a bit unsure," Flynnse thought for a moment and gave a mixed answer.
"Then do you want to resist your family's pressure for Aisha? What I mean is, Aisha is from a half-blood family, which means that if you truly want to achieve a happy ending with her, you not only have to resist your parents' pressure on you but also their pressure on Aisha's family."
"If possible, I want to!" Flynnse said firmly.
"Then I wish you good luck in advance," Kayson said with a smile.
Flynnse scratched his head in confusion: "But Professor, you haven't taught me what to do?"
Kayson smiled: "This thing doesn't need to be taught, nor can it be taught. I just asked so many questions to confirm your determination. So, since you've decided to shelter Aisha and her family from the wind and rain! All that's left is to persevere..."
"Of course, if we're talking about teaching, there's still a tiny bit: you need to have your own money. Otherwise, if your parents cut off your allowance, what will you persevere with? People need to eat, after all."
Flynnse nodded: "Is it that simple?"
"It won't be simple when you actually do it, naive Little Wizards," Kayson said, smiling at Flynnse. The so-called Slytherin Morality Class he boasted about back then, if Draco was the elementary stage where he planted a seed of free thought, then Flynnse had already graduated.
He already had the awareness to resist family arrangements. Of course, this so-called resistance to family arrangements doesn't mean refuting everything or directly becoming a so-called unfilial son like Sirius.
That would still seem a bit extreme. After all, Sirius was great to his friends, but to a stranger, it's best not to get too close to Sirius.
As for the so-called resistance to the family, one only needs to have that thought. As long as that thought exists, even if it can't succeed temporarily, then when the family truly passes into the hands of the new generation in the future, it won't necessarily continue down the old generation's path.
Change, even a little bit, is precious.
"Professor, I feel like I just talked a lot here... uh..." Flynnse didn't know how to continue.
"You feel it's useless, that I'll just fob you off with empty words, right?" Kayson said directly.
Flynnse was a bit embarrassed but eventually nodded.
