Fair Competition?
The suit shifted shape according to Xu Mo's thoughts, finally settling into the form of a sharp, tailored outfit.
This Feather God Armor, like the Black God Set, could reduce incoming damage by 90%.
The difference was in its ceiling: the Feather God Armor could still weaken an attack from a Domain Lord–level powerhouse by 90%. The Black God Set, by contrast, could only defend reliably against stellar-level strikes.
After familiarizing himself with the Feather God Armor, Xu Mo decided not to rush into exchanging his remaining points for weapons. Most psychic-based weapons demanded immense mental strength to wield properly. For now, training and honing his mind would bring greater long-term value.
Once all the points earned in the apocalyptic world were fully credited, then he would consider trading them for higher treasures. After all, the undead armies kept multiplying—it would take at least a month to completely purge that world of zombies. With the tenfold time dilation, that translated to roughly a year in this world.

Pennsylvania State University
In one of the lecture buildings, Wanda Maximoff descended the stairs carrying a few textbooks.
"Wanda, wait a minute!"
A male voice called from above.
Her face darkened. Without turning, she quickened her pace.
But the man caught up and cut her off. He wore a plaid shirt and jeans, nervous yet eager. He fished out two tickets from his shoulder bag.
"Wanda… I got concert tickets. Would you like to go with me tonight?"
Annoyance flickered in Wanda's eyes.
"Scott, I've told you before—call me by my last name. We're not close. And for the last time, I'm married, and I love my husband. I will not go to a concert with you. If you keep harassing me, I'll call the police."
With that, she brushed past him, tugging a classmate along as she left.
Scott's expression soured briefly, but he quickly forced a smile back onto his face. Watching Wanda's back, he clenched his jaw. He didn't believe a word about her being married. He had already checked: Wanda was a freshman. No way a girl that young, wealthy, and beautiful was tied down.
He convinced himself it was only an excuse. Persistence would win her over—or failing that, he'd "force a chance."

Reunion
As soon as Wanda stepped outside the building, she spotted a familiar figure waiting. Her eyes lit up. She ran forward and threw herself into his arms.
It was Xu Mo.
"Honey, why are you here?"
He smiled, handing her a bouquet. "Because I missed you."
Her heart softened instantly. Wanda kissed him lightly on the cheek. Then she tugged her friend closer.
"Let me introduce you. This is my good friend—Skye."
Xu Mo turned to greet her, and both froze the instant their eyes met.
"…You—"
Skye instantly recognized him as the stranger who had accidentally stumbled into her bathroom through that bizarre portal.
"Yes," Xu Mo said quickly, extending a hand with a polite smile. "I'm Wanda's husband."
Skye hesitated, but recovered. She could tell from his expression that what happened had been unintentional. She shook his hand.
Wanda, puzzled, asked: "Do you two know each other?"
Skye shook her head hastily. "No, he just looks… familiar."
Wanda gave Xu Mo a teasing glance. "Makes sense. My husband used to be a regular reader of Playboy."
Xu Mo coughed and shifted the subject. "Anyway, let's not talk about that. It's late. Let's grab food."
Wanda and Skye nodded in agreement.

Unwanted Competition
But before they could leave, Scott caught up again. His eyes locked on the flowers in Wanda's hands, then on Xu Mo. His expression twisted.
"This guy is…?"
"None of your business," Wanda snapped. "Why do you keep pestering me?" She gripped Xu Mo's arm tightly.
Xu Mo's gaze darkened. Thanks to his telepathy, he had already replayed the entire harassment upstairs in his mind. He had planned to let someone else quietly handle Scott later. But seeing him persist so shamelessly, Xu Mo's patience ended.
"Next time this happens, tell me," Xu Mo said to Wanda. "Or call Avril—she'll deal with it."
"I just thought it wasn't worth troubling you," Wanda murmured. "I figured he'd give up if I refused."
Xu Mo stroked her hair gently, then turned to Scott.
Scott swallowed nervously but forced himself to speak. "Brother… fair competition, right?"
Xu Mo laughed coldly. "Fair competition? You want competition? Fine. Compete in prison—picking up soap."
A purple light flashed in Xu Mo's eyes.
Scott froze mid-step, his expression emptying into a dazed stupor. Without another word, he turned and stumbled away, hollow-eyed, like a puppet under Xu Mo's control.
