Running through the wet city that even their hair was soaking in the water, Jack and Stella headed as fast as they could to the place.
"Jack, how long until we arrive?"
Stella asked worriedly.
"If we keep up the pace I think in less than 10 minutes. We have to hurry I feel like they have been delaying us to find an escape route.
After a while Jack and Stella were on the brink of destiny.
"Most people enter through the main door where there is a hidden elevator to the underground, but as I have known the city for years I know a shortcut. Follow me."
Walking around the factory, Jack and Stella began to hear engines working.
"What is this?"
Stella asks.
"They started to turn on their engines to escape, come with me through this sewer."
Tac-tac-tac-tac (Jack and Stella go downstairs)
Coming out of the sewer, they both found themselves on a sort of platform near the ceiling with energy scoreboards.
"Shush be quiet Stella they are close."
Jack whispered sweating.
Looking through the gaps in the bars, one could see a kind of garage with boats floating on the water, indicating that the route the criminals chose to leave the city was by sea.
"So hurry up, boy!"
A voice from one of the boats shouted.
"Wait a minute, Mrs. Teresa, I'm on my way."
Another voice of a man echoed this time.
"No way?!"
Jack said in surprise.
"What is it, Jack? Let me see. UH?"
Looking at the person on the boat, Stella broke out in a cold sweat because that person was none other than the old lady who had helped them minutes ago.
Ploooom (Stella breaks one of the bars she was holding, making a loud noise throughout the place.)
"... Mrs. Teresa, it seems something unexpected has come up, go ahead and we'll meet later."
"Alright, kid, but be careful, they're no pushover."
After the old woman left the sea with the boat, that man was the only one present there.
"You're here, aren't you? Jack and the girl whose name I don't know."
Ploc, ploc, ploc (mysterious man footsteps)
"Come on, there's no point in hiding, I heard the noise."
Jack and Stella remained hidden and silent until an opportunity arose.
"Uh? Oh i see, they probably haven't found the place yet, apparently the noise was from this crowbar that fell from the table. I was worried for nothing."
"Surprise!"
