As I was still sleeping in my bed, I heard an alarm go off.
I opened my eyes and looked around my room.
Yawning, I floated to the bridge and Rea welcomed me with a message.
"Approaching targeted solar system in 60 minutes."
I immediately sobered up and sat on the control sit of my ship and looked at the outside space.
Soon the milky way appeared but my ship did not stop.
It continued into the swirling like ocean of stars and passed by the planets in their order respectively.
Neptune, Uranus, Satan, Jupiter and Mars.
And soon the third planet of the solar system, glowing like a pearl in the black space bathed in yellow sunshine.
One side dark experiencing night and the other side bright experiencing day it was such a sight to behold.
I controlled my spaceship to land on the moon were it cannot be easily spotted.
The reason as to why I did not not land on Earth directly is because am not sure about the situation there.
Imagine I swagger into Earth and the next moment missiles are launched at me.
Or if I enter Earth and it's in an apocalypse then parademons swarm my ship.
Parademons, those things are not hard to deal with when they are alone but fighting alone is not their style.
They originate from Darkseid's world, Apocalypse.
They have grey skin, a pair of featherless wings on the back, a bit bigger than humans and have hideous faces.
Darkseid is considered a god and he reigns over Apocalypse as the one true king.
Anyway enough about this apocalypse scenario, according to what am seeing with my physical eyes and the ship's image, Earth does noy look like it's going through any apocalyptic event.
That's good I guess.
Now I have to think of a way to land on Earth without being detected.
I thought hard about how I can get on Earth without being detected for over 15 minutes.
Eventually I gave up on thinking hard about such a small issue and spoke
"Rea, just put the ship in camouflage mode and silently land on this area.
I mark an area on the image of Earth that Rea took and left Rea with the rest.
Obviously I marked an area of Earth experiencing day, I mean which Kryptonian would not want to be in yellow sunshine.
Good thing nothing weird happened as my ship landed on the ground.
The ship landed in a lush forest and the surrounding environment is relatively peaceful.
I used my ship to scan the surrounding area and it detected a town about 5km from my current location.
A screen having the live images of the town appeared in front of me.
I look at at the civilians and remember that my clothes may seem a little odd if I walked out there.
But the only clothes I had on me were kryptonian.
Remembering kryptonian technology, there is a device that can make relatively unimportant things using the surrounding matter.
I could use it to make me human clothes but the problem would now be the design.
The device which I have decided to call replicator needs an already existing design in order to make anything.
Right now that would be the human clothes.
All I need to do is get some human clothes, bring them back to the ship for the replicator to scan them and boom, I have clothes.
The good thing is that I do not need to get other samples or human clothes again because the design will be saved.
Sounds easy enough.
With that, I connected Rea to my amulet and wore it on my neck this time.
I then fly to the exit of my ship down the hallway.
I tap on a panel and the ship's exit which is like a door slides downward and outward of the ship forming a floating stair case.
I fly out of the ship and land on the soil.
I turned back to look at my ship and the name camouflage mode suggests, I cannot see my ship using normal vision.
It was like it was not even there though I can still see it with X-ray vision and my amulet.
I decided to run the 5km to the town in order to stretch my legs.
I first started by jogging and then accelerated slowly by slowly until I ran at full speed while using super speed.
Surprisingly it took me 16 seconds slightly around the speed of sound.
After crossing the 5km distance, I was welcomed by a lot of noise in my ears which made me uncomfortable.
It was my super hearing causing me discomfort since I have been in silence for the past like 48 hours.
I used a kryptonian martial breathing art to control my super hearing basing on my breath.
After going through a series of breathing in and out using the kryptonian martial breathing art, the noise tunes down to a bearable volume.
With that, I walk into the noisy town.
