I wake up early after a long time and I hear some voices in the background.
Voice 1 "It has been 2 since we acquired this Kryptonian body."
Voice 2 "Reporting to commander, this body was found by one of our scout squads in a dead ship drifting in space."
Voice 1 "Where is the ship you found this Kryptonian body?"
Voice 2"The ship is currently placed in one of our storage facilities."
Voice 1"Good, send this body and the ship to the research department to see if they can get anything useful."
After listening to that conversation, I feel back asleep because my body was feeling very tired and could not even move a finger.
After an unknown amount of time, I wake up feeling in my arms. I was surrounded by some sort of liquid or fluid.
I opened my eyes and I saw 2 tubes connected to both of my arms and I was in a big tube made of glass.
The glass was transparent so I saw what was on the other side of it.
On the other side, I saw a group humanoid aliens working.
Some were data received from my tube and others were transferring and carrying tubes like mine.
I looked around and I saw that there were other tubes having human-like figures in them.
The human-like figures seemed to be asleep as none of them was moving so I also pretended to still be asleep.
I remember their being red light shining on my tube so am guessing that they already know that am weak in red sunlight.
I feel my hand and my amulet is not there so I secretly open my eyes and search for my amulet but to no veil.
The doors to the research am in open and I look over to see an alien of the same species as the ones that are analysing from the different tubes walking in.
But unlike the other aliens, this one seemed to be a leader because the other aliens gave it respect and made way for it as it moved.
The alien leader moved to the area where data was being collected and asked the researchers in a language I could strangely understand "Are there any problems on the experiment being carried out on the tamaraneans?"
A researcher answered "Negative Sire, the tamaranean subjects we captured from the war are being experimented on with the light fusion experiment."
The alien leader then asked "Have there been any successful subjects ?"
A researcher answwered "Negative Sire, the tamaranean subjects that have undergone the light fusion experiment have all died without exception."
"The alien reader then said "Recently we captured 2 royals of the tamaranean race fighting on the frontlines, I will send them to you and see if we can achieve anything from carrying out the light fusion experiment from on them."
The researcher responded "Yes Sire"
The alien leader then looked around at the tubes that had tamaraneans that were going taken for the light fusion experiment and eventually his eyes landed on my tube specifically me.
The alien Leader then asked "Is that the Kryptonian body?"
The researcher first looked in the direction that the alien leader was looking then replied "Yes Sire"
The alien leader then said "Be careful with the kryptonian."
He then added "As you have already heard, the home planet of the kryptonians, Krypton exploded due to unknown reasons and all kryptonians were on the planet at that time so this could very well be the only kryptonian remaining in existence."
The researcher responded "Sire, we have only been extracting small potions of blood from the kryptonian and we have discovered that the kryptonian blood cells are less active when exposed to radiation from a red sun."
The alien leader then asked "Have you found a way to awaken the kryptonian?"
The researcher responded "Negative Sire"
The alien leader then commanded "Expose the kryptonian to different spectrums of light and see if we can awaken it."
He also added "Maybe doing this will also aid us in the progression of the light fusion experiment."
After saying that the alien leader walked out of the room.
Thinking of the conversation that I had just heard, I could not help but feel relieved.
At least the aliens are not putting toxic chemicals and they probably not dismember me or remove some of my limbs for the time being but I do not want to stay here any longer because they may change their minds.
So I have to wait for an opportunity to escape.
I will have to use the chance they change mu tube to yellow sunshine to seize my freedom.
I then look at the glass tube having sleeping tamaraneans, according to what I just heard , the tamaraneans are at war with this alien race.
And from what I know about the tamaraneans from watching DC is that they are a powerful race although not as powerful as the kryptonians.
The tamaraneans follow a kingdom-like format so they have a king and a queen who are obviously considered royals and govern the whole race.
Tamaraneans have super strength but not as strong as kryptonians under the yellow sun, they have high regenerative capabilities, they can fly and they can also absorb sunshine .
Starfire a member of the teen titans in DC is also a member of this race and also considered as royalty.
For this unknown race to be fighting the tamaraneans means that they have something to rely on and from what am seeing am guessing that they rely on their technology to make powerful weapons that can contend with the tamaraneans.
The tamaraneans are most likely being used for this light fusion experiment because of their ability to absorb power from sunshine of different stars.
Am guessing that they will soon use me for the same experiment.
