Bardock was about to strike when he noticed something strange.

The sky grew dull. Clouds froze midair. Time itself had stopped.

Bardock narrowed his eyes. What the hell? Who's stopping time?

He glanced around and noticed something odd—Whis was still moving. So was Beerus.

Then suddenly, a blinding light surrounded Bardock and Whis. In an instant, they were pulled away. When Bardock opened his eyes, he was standing in a vast white void with Beerus and Whis.

Beerus growled, clearly annoyed.

"Hey, Saiyan! What did you do? Do you even know where we are?!"

Bardock scowled back.

"Tch. Don't blame me, Destroyer. I don't know either."

Whis stepped forward calmly.

"My lord, Bardock is telling the truth. This isn't his doing. This is someone far higher than us."

Before Beerus could argue, a voice echoed through the void.

"Indeed. Whis is correct."

The tone was familiar—one that made even Beerus tense up.

They turned around and saw him.

A tall figure with silver hair and staff in hand—the Grand Priest. But this wasn't the same Grand Priest they knew. This one was taller, his presence even greater.

Next to him stood two other beings:

One had the body of a Namekian but the head of a dragon.

The other was a cosmic figure made of stars, wearing clothes like Zeno's.

Beerus' eyes went wide.

"G-Grand Priest?! And… Zeno?! No… they don't look the same…"

The taller Grand Priest smiled gently.

"Yes. I am the Grand Priest… but this is my true form."

Bardock clenched his fists. "True form…?"

Whis froze. Even he had never heard of this.

The dragon-headed Namekian stepped forward, his deep voice rumbling.

"Let me explain."

With a snap of his fingers, glowing seeds appeared in the air behind them, shifting into visions of time and space.

Then the cosmic figure spoke, his voice calm yet overwhelming.

"Sit. We will explain everything."

Beerus glanced at the Grand Priest, uneasy. When the Grand Priest nodded, both he and Bardock sat down, listening carefully.

The true Grand Priest raised his hand, pointing first to the dragon-headed being.

"This is Zalama, the creator of the Super Dragon Balls."

Then he gestured toward the cosmic figure.

"And this… is the true Zeno. Not the childlike king you know, but his original form."

Bardock's eyes widened. Beerus' jaw tightened. Even Whis was frozen in silence.

The Grand Priest continued.

"We are not separate. In truth, we are one. But across different timelines, different worlds, we created avatars of ourselves. The Grand Priest you know… the Zeno you know… they are fragments. Avatars meant to maintain order in lesser realms."

He leaned forward, his eyes glowing.

"But you are now standing before our true selves. And the reason you're here… is far greater than you can imagine."

Beerus' eyes went wide. "W-What?! Twenty-three universes?!"

He was more shocked than anyone.

The tall, true form of Zeno spoke calmly.

"Yes. There were once twenty-three universes."

Bardock frowned. "But… I thought there were only twelve."

Beerus crossed his arms. "Hmph. I heard there used to be eighteen."

The Grand Priest nodded. "You are both correct. At first there were twenty-three. Four of them became corrupted. And from there… the count began to fall."

Bardock suddenly noticed something—their thoughts were being read. His eyes narrowed.

A deep voice cut through. It was the dragon-headed being, Zalama.

"Yes, Bardock. We can hear your mind too."

Everyone froze for a moment. Even Beerus and Whis looked unsettled.

Then Zeno's true form continued.

"One of our kind turned against us… a primordial demon known as Greymon. He wanted to devour the entire Omniverse and rebel against the Most High. If that had happened, the Almighty would have erased everything—including us. So we stepped in to stop him."

The Grand Priest's true form raised a hand.

"Even after that, the remaining eighteen universes became tainted with demonic energy from Dragamon. We had no choice but to erase more… until only twelve were left."

Bardock stayed silent, listening.

Then Zalama turned to him.

"When you pushed back Frieza's attack, you weren't meant to survive. You were supposed to be pulled back in time. But instead… you died and reincarnated in another multiverse. We watched this happen with our true eyes."

Bardock's fists clenched. "Reincarnated…?"

Zalama nodded.

"Yes. And as your soul traveled, it passed through one of the destroyed universes. You absorbed its essence. When you finally reached this multiverse, you carried that essence with you."

The true Zeno stepped closer.

"In our realm, your Dragon Ball world exists almost like a show, watched by beings beyond it. When you died there, you crossed back again—into your true body in the past. That's how you began building the Saiyan Empire."

Bardock's eyes narrowed, his aura flickering. "So… why call me here now?"

The true Grand Priest's voice turned heavy.

"Because you carry the essence of the erased universes. You have become the center of the multiverse itself. Every timeline is connected through you. If your universe is destroyed… everything—every multiverse, every timeline—will collapse with it."

Bardock gritted his teeth. "Me… the center?"

Zalama explained further.

"The Supreme Kai of Time, Chronoa, only oversees fragments of timelines. If one falls, the others remain. But you… all timelines are bound to you alone. If you fall, infinite timelines die together."

Whis' eyes widened. "Unbelievable…"

Beerus stood frozen, sweat on his face. He had seen reincarnation before—destroyed entire planets for it—but Bardock's case was on a whole different level.

For once, even the God of Destruction had no words.

The true Zeno spoke again, his voice calm but heavy.

"And not only that, Bardock. Every essence you've taken in — from the destroyed universes, from the realm above the multiverse, and from this multiverse itself — has become balanced inside you."

Bardock blinked. "Balanced… inside me?"

Zalama, the Dragon God, nodded.

"Yes. In the erased universes, there were Gods of Creation, Supreme Kais, Gods of Destruction, even corrupted Angels. You've absorbed the essence of all of them. That power is starting to awaken inside you."

Bardock's eyes widened. "I… I've got all that inside me?"

The true Grand Priest raised a hand.

"It's still in the early stages, but the divinity inside you has begun to form. Bardock… you are becoming something new. A God of Preservation."

Beerus' jaw tightened. "A… God of Preservation?!"

Even Whis' eyes narrowed in surprise. "Remarkable…"

The true Zeno floated closer.

"That's why we summoned you here," he said simply.

Zalama stepped forward.

"And the reason we brought Whis and Beerus is because, unlike our avatars, they were never told this truth. We wanted them to hear it directly."

Bardock looked from one god to another, stunned. "You're telling me… I'm turning into some kind of god?!"

Zalama's glowing eyes locked on Bardock.

"You already are — but only in the earliest stage. That's why you're here."

Bardock clenched his fists. "So… you're going to train me?"

The three supreme beings glanced at each other, then spoke as one.

"No. Your divinity will train you."

Bardock blinked. "Huh?"

The true Grand Priest explained calmly.

"We'll keep you here for a short time. In that time, all the knowledge you need — how to control your power, how to use it, what you truly are — will pour directly into your mind. You'll learn it from within."

Bardock's aura flickered. "Tch… so I'm going to be trained by myself…"

Beerus muttered under his breath. "This Saiyan just keeps getting crazier…"

Whis smiled faintly. "Interesting. Very interesting…"
