Bardock watched Vados leave and smirked.
"That was close… but worth it. Three crystals from Universe 6, for free."
Now he had six in total — three from his own universe, three from hers. And more was always better.
Suddenly, his storage box buzzed.
Bzzzz!
"Huh? Another cosmic beast already?" Bardock's eyes lit up. He pulled out the blue crystal, which glowed stronger than ever.
The light pulsed, guiding his senses. Bardock stretched out his ki, covering nearly the whole galaxy. He could now recognize the distinct energy signature of those monsters.
There — one was heading his way, still hundreds of light years off. That was nothing to Bardock.
"No point waiting for it to come here… I'll go to it!"
With Instant Transmission, he vanished.
Meanwhile, in Beerus' world.
Whis was calmly enjoying dinner, not at all concerned.
He knew Bardock could find beasts easily, but gathering enough crystals would still take time.
One or two meant nothing — but with many, tempered properly, a blueprint of the laws could form.
He expected Bardock to be gone at least a week.
Then his staff chimed. Ding! Ding! Ding!
Whis paused, frowning. "Strange… Vados already left Universe 7? That's quicker than I thought."
Still, he shrugged. "Well, better early than late." And went back to his meal.
Three days later.
Bardock had jumped across the cosmos, hunting beast after beast. He'd slain nine more and claimed four new crystals. Added to the three from Vados, he now had fifteen in total.
Standing in deep space, he released seven different-colored crystals before him — blue, purple, white, green, orange, red, and gray. Each held the essence of a beast.
Dingling… Dingling…
The fifteen crystals spun, glowing brighter, pulling toward each other. A storm of raw power burst out, twisting space itself. Meteors and planets shook, dragged into chaos.
Bardock grinned. "Looks like my gamble paid off… this is it."
The pressure hit him like a mountain. This wasn't normal energy.
It was the power of law.
Even in base form, Bardock could barely withstand it. He clenched his fists.
"Fine. Super Saiyan it is!"
Golden light surged — Super Saiyan Full Power, 80x his base. His aura flared, pushing back against the storm.
But the law's force was overwhelming. Within seconds, he was blasted back, pain tearing through him.
"Tch… this is stronger than I thought."
He powered higher — Super Saiyan 2, then 3, then beyond. His aura roared, galaxies trembling from his rising strength.
Finally, Bardock unleashed his ultimate form — the bloodline-pushed limit of a Super Saiyan, hair glowing with crimson-pink light. His ki multiplied hundreds of thousands of times, shaking the void itself.
Now he surged forward, tearing into the storm. His energy pressed it back, shrinking the chaos until it condensed into a sphere no larger than ten meters.
At the center floated the fifteen crystals, resonating with each other.
"It's stabilizing!" Bardock roared, smashing through the last waves. With a swipe of his hand, he drew all fifteen crystals into his own domain.
"The power of law… is mine!" His eyes burned with excitement, though he knew — this was only the beginning. To use them, he would need true understanding.
With Instant Transmission, Bardock warped back to Beerus' planet.
Whis blinked as Bardock appeared before him, still glowing in his ultimate form.
"My, my… you're back much faster than I expected."
Bardock grinned, holding out the crystals. "Fifteen in total."
Whis' eyes widened slightly. "So many types already…" He studied them with interest. "You've gathered seven different laws. If you collect enough, you may awaken their full potential."
Bardock's heart raced. "So I was right… each color is a different law."
Whis nodded, smiling gently. "Correct. But don't be mistaken, Bardock. Cultivating the power of law isn't something that happens overnight. Even prodigies take decades. Most mortals would never touch it in millions of years."
Bardock smirked. "Then I'll just do it faster."
Whis chuckled softly. "You do have remarkable luck. Perhaps it's destiny. For now, you should rest and train here. Under my guidance, you may learn more than you realize."
Bardock's eyes lit up. Whis wasn't just any teacher — he was the teacher. He'd trained Goku and Vegeta, raising them to godly levels.
And now it was Bardock's turn.
Rest? No way. For me, hunting those giant beasts was resting," Bardock said to Whis with a sharp grin. His Saiyan blood was boiling — he wanted one thing only: to get stronger.
If he didn't push forward, he'd fall behind. And if he ever wanted to return to the future world, he had to break past his current limits. No stopping. No slowing. Only climbing to higher realms.
Whis tilted his head, smiling as if he already saw through Bardock's thoughts. "I see. You can't sit still, can you? Very well, let's start right away. But not here — we'll need another place."
The Angel tapped his staff, and a bright light wrapped around them both. In the blink of an eye, they vanished.
When the light faded, Bardock found himself standing in a strange white void. Thick mist rolled endlessly, and the horizon had no edge. It felt heavy… divine.
"This place…" Bardock muttered. Memories stirred. This was the same training world where Goku and Vegeta had once unlocked the power of gods. A space built to push warriors beyond their limits.
But just as he was about to move, something unseen slammed down on his body like a mountain. His limbs froze. His whole body locked up.
"What the—?! Even with my control and strength, I can't move?!" Bardock was stunned.
The pressure here was brutal. Every time he tried to twitch a finger, his body nearly collapsed under the crushing weight.
Whis floated nearby with a teasing smile. "Oh my, Bardock-san, surprised? I added a little twist to this space just for you. If you want results, your training can't be easy."
Bardock smirked despite the pressure. "Good… I like it this way. Without pressure, there's no point."
Drawing on his Saiyan instinct, Bardock forced himself to relax, letting go of all his tension. He sank his power back into his body, muscles loose, breathing calm. Slowly, the invisible weight eased. He could move again.
"Heh. Not bad, Whis. But this space won't break me."
Inside, though, he was shocked. This dimension was a true training ground for monsters. If he'd come here years ago, he would've been crushed within minutes.
Whis chuckled. "Don't get ahead of yourself. This is only the beginning. Even Lord Beerus trained in a place like this before unlocking Ultra Instinct. If you want the power of law, Bardock-san, prepare yourself — the torment starts now."
He flicked his staff, and white light surged, wrapping Bardock's body. Suddenly, every drop of divine and Saiyan power inside him was sealed. He couldn't even transform.
Bardock's eyes widened. "Tch… you really are something else…" The pressure doubled, sweat dripping down his face. But instead of despair, his Saiyan blood boiled hotter. His pride screamed at him to overcome it.
[So this is Angel power… truly terrifying. But one day, I'll surpass even this!] Bardock clenched his teeth. Failure wasn't the end for a Saiyan. Every defeat was fuel to grow stronger.
Whis watched quietly, impressed. [Amazing… Father was right about him. With talent like this, he could even surpass Beerus-sama someday.]
From then, training began in earnest. Days blurred into weeks. Time didn't matter here. Under Whis' strict guidance, Bardock adapted to the crushing space. His control over divine ki deepened. His bloodline power sharpened. And slowly… he touched the edges of something even greater — Ultra Instinct.
When he finally stepped out of the white void, a month had passed. His aura had completely changed. Stronger. Sharper. On a new level.
"Super Saiyan Blue, level three… fused with bloodline power… but this still isn't enough," Bardock thought, eyes glowing. "If I can break past the wall of Super Saiyan Four, then maybe… just maybe… I'll reach the Fifth Level."
That was his goal now. Saiyan evolution without end. The path forward was set.
