From sunrise to sundown, the Lambo bus glided silently along the empty road. The only sound was the soft, steady roar of the engine echoing across the barren landscape.
---
Far away, in the stronghold of the Blue Gate Family, a man sat upon a massive black throne. The moment his trembling subordinate finished speaking, the man — Scott — crushed the wine glass in his hand, blood dripping between his fingers.
"What do you mean he vanished?" Scott's voice thundered through the hall. His sharp green eyes glowed with fury as he rose to his feet, towering over the terrified man.
"Y–yes, my lord," the subordinate stammered, his body trembling, intestines spilling from a deep wound. "I followed them the moment they left the VIP sector, but… they disappeared along the corridor. My Shadow Salamander couldn't even trace them!"
Scott's lip curled into a snarl. "You think I'm a fool?" His voice dropped into a dangerous whisper. "Find them. I don't care how — I want your report in fifty-six hours, thirty minutes, and twenty-five seconds."
A green serpent coiled lazily around his neck, hissing softly as Scott's glowing eyes narrowed.
"Y–yes, my lord," the man croaked before melting into the shadows, vanishing completely.
"Useless," Scott muttered, sinking back onto his throne. "All of them… useless."

Meanwhile, completely unaware of the storm brewing behind his back, Sunny sat by the window, watching the scenery blur past. His gaze shifted to Lilith, asleep under a soft red silk blanket, her face peaceful and radiant.
He smiled faintly. It's all worth it.
Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out his phone and began scrolling through Telegram messages — avoiding WhatsApp as usual. His instincts never trusted that app.
The phone vibrated suddenly, the screen flashing rhythmically. Sunny swiped up to answer.
"Boss," a deep voice said from the other end, "another batch of goods just arrived on the Dark Web. And this time, it includes the item you requested."
"Send the Dimension Planet Key to my storage ring," Sunny said calmly. "Use the linked portal."
Before the voice could respond, Sunny ended the call — and blocked the number immediately. It was a habit. A rule. No trace, no risk.
The roar of distant beasts and the shrill cry of giant birds filled the air as the Lambo bus sped toward the Weeping Willow Forest. Pressing a button on his chair, Sunny revealed a silver mask lined with sharp fangs. He smiled slightly before waving his hand — the mask vanished into thin air.
---
A sudden jolt. The bus screeched to a halt.
Sunny's eyes snapped open, irritation flashing briefly before fading as he saw the blocked path ahead.
"Sir, should I engage air mode?" Cedric's voice echoed through the comm.
"Engage," Sunny ordered.
The tires retracted, and blue flames ignited from the undercarriage. With a thunderous roar, the Lambo bus lifted off the ground, rocketing into the sky like a jet.
Below them, the cries of beasts and eerie wails of unseen creatures echoed through the forest. Yet Sunny remained calm — his gaze steady, his expression unreadable.
---
Moments later, the bus landed gently atop a vast mountain peak that pierced the clouds. The view stretched endlessly — wild, ancient, untamed.
"Lilith," Sunny said softly, shaking her shoulder. She stirred, rubbing her eyes sleepily before stepping out with him. The moment they both disembarked, the Lambo bus vanished into the distance like a phantom streak of light.
Now alone on the mountain, Sunny smiled faintly.
"Are you ready," he asked, "to begin your evolution and your cure?"
Lilith nodded firmly, determination gleaming in her eyes.
Sunny summoned her status panel with a thought:
[Angel: Lilith]
[Status: Uncontracted (Disabled Foundation)]
[Talent: Epic Six-Star]
[Level: Tier Zero]
[Skills: Holy Light Judgement, Divine Lantern, Wing of Heaven, Holy Light Sword]
[Special State: Congenitally Damaged Foundation]
[Negative Effect: Cannot Level Up]
[Cultivation Suggestion: Angel Feather, Holy Spirit Ban Stone, Radiant Silk, Angel Tears]
Sunny inhaled deeply. "System," he commanded mentally, "begin evolution and cure."
Instantly, he leapt back — mask and twin daggers materializing in his hands.
With a metallic ding, a blinding golden light burst from Lilith's body, wrapping her in a radiant cocoon. The forest below stirred violently — beasts roared, drawn by the divine glow.
Sunny's expression hardened. He twirled the daggers, their poisoned blades glinting under the golden hue. His pupils ignited crimson as his enhanced vision stretched twenty miles ahead.
They're coming.
The first to arrive was a massive Sparrow Beast, wings cutting through the air with thunderous force. Sunny spun midair and drove his dagger into its belly, slashing it open in one swift, merciless strike. The creature screamed — and fell lifelessly down the mountain.
Blood spattered his coat.
"And so it begins," Sunny muttered coldly.
He dashed forward — a streak of silver and red — cutting down another beast, then another. Each strike was clean, precise, and deadly.
Dozens of corpses littered the mountain peak as more beasts climbed upward, fighting savagely among themselves for a chance at the divine light.
Sunny exhaled sharply and split — his body fracturing into four afterimages, each identical and armed. They spread out, forming a deadly perimeter around Lilith's cocoon.
From above, it looked like a storm of blades dancing amidst golden light.
And thus began the Bloodshade of the Weeping Willow Mountain — a night of relentless slaughter beneath a sky painted in gold and crimson.
