Once he settled things down between the troublemakers, Aegon took Xiu to a different table where she wouldn't cause trouble for others. Drunk Xiu was getting out of hand, so he doubted he could control her.
"Why did you even drink this much?" he asked. "Surely not just to meet your brother."
"Two reasons." Xiu wiggled four fingers and said, her voice surprisingly steady. "First, I'm very happy to finally meet and talk with my brother. It's a happy occasion and I wanted to drown myself in the best alcohol."
"Understandable. So what's the second one?" he asked again.
"That damned panoti!" Xiu's expression instantly changed, going from pure bliss to pure hatred. "I will knock his teeth out the next time we meet. How dare he tell me he has that just to not give it to me!"
"Hmm? He has something you want?" Aegon asked, really curious about it now.
"Of course. He has many things I want," Xiu nodded hurriedly. "He actually collects them and never sells them. All just to mock me."
