Arin's POV
As we ran through the nightmare forest, my stomach exploded with pain. Gasping for air, I staggered and clung to a tree. It felt like the twins inside of me were trying to come out early because they were kicking so hard.
"Arin!" Before I could fall, Jaxon grabbed me. "What's wrong?"
"The babies," I gasped. "They're engaged in combat."
Luna's starry eyes were wide with concern as she ran back to us. "In your stomach, I can hear them fighting. They're furious and afraid."
"Arguing about what?" Rowan appeared next to us and asked.
Luna cocked her head as if she were hearing something that only she could hear. "One twin desires to battle the hunters by using power. The other twin wishes to remain hidden. They are unable to agree."
