Arin's POV
I was slashed by the new Harbinger's claw. Feeling the wind from its assault, I quickly rolled to the side. However, the Unity Ritual had left me so weak that I could hardly move.
It snarled, ready to strike again. "You cannot run forever, little Luna."
At that moment, a remarkable event occurred. Suddenly, like a tidal wave, the Unity power that I had dispersed throughout all dimensions came rushing back to me. I was receiving the strength of every supernatural creature from every world.
A hundred different Kaels gave me werewolf power. Numerous iterations of Marcus gave me vampire speed. Witchcraft flowed from several Elder Mavas. All of it poured into me at once.
This time, though, something was different. The power felt... right, rather than burning me up. As if it were mine.
"That's not possible," the Harbinger retorted. "That amount of dimensional energy cannot be held by a single being."
