Unlike the faces of everyone else in the room which changed, Greta was still smiling.
She was slow by nature and laughed softly before jesting, "High-quality and imitations at the same time? I've told you numerous times to speak with words I understand."
The staff hesitated, "Uh… simply put, you've been scammed."
Greta blinked, "What?"
The person hummed, explaining, "Yeah, none of these are originals. I've run their numbers in the system twice, and they all came back empty, meaning nothing with such serial numbers has ever been
manufactured. Not even waste."
"Whoever did this must've spent a lot of time making them pass for originals, so I know it wasn't cheap. Have you paid for them already?"
"You can't even tell the difference between an original and a fake, but your brother buys them for you all the time?" coughed one of the Z-listers, resisting the urge to laugh.
"Just how many lies like these has she made us believe?"
