The searing heat reached unimaginable extremes, melting everything in an instant, like a prehistoric beast opening its bloody maw to devour the earth.
A colossal crater was left behind, its edges resembling bite marks.
A pungent sulfur smell filled the air as magma rapidly cooled…
"Ikaris!"
The blonde beauty with her loose, untamed hair gasped in alarm.
Her face was filled with worry and shock—
She couldn't believe what she was seeing!
A top-level Heavenly Father-tier being had appeared?!
The Holy Lord?
Could it be the demon emperor who twice ruled the Eastern Continent?
Tina was no stranger to the Holy Lord.

Then his tone shifted, teeth clenched in righteous fury. "Those foolish Eternals dared to harm my brother, my comrade—unforgivable!"
His acting skills could've won an Oscar on the spot.
"Holy Lord," Zhong Su said, clutching his chest, visibly moved. "It seems you've truly turned over a new leaf. From this day forward, our grudges are wiped clean!"
Though his wounds had already healed, the lingering pain still throbbed—piercing through to his brain, fueling a burning hatred.
Eternals?
Fine.
He'd remember them well.
Once he regained his peak as an Archdemon, he would scour mountains and seas alike in a merciless slaughter!
But there was a problem…
How could he restore his power?
"Brother Zhong Su," Shen Du said with a calm smile. "No need to worry. I've prepared generous gifts for all my brothers and sisters."
"For example… this suit of armor."
"Forged from ultra-pure vibranium."
He snapped his fingers.
At once—
—a magnificent vibranium battle suit materialized from thin air.
Its surface was covered in intricate engravings, the hollow lines filled with magical lacquer forming rune symbols—mystic characters that embodied the secrets of the universe and carried boundless arcane power!

—the same inscriptions that granted Mjölnir its incredible abilities.
Even the tip of Odin's Eternal Spear bore runic markings.
Clearly, these mysterious, multi-layered runes were anything but ordinary!
"Vibranium?!"
Ikaris's pupils shrank violently.
That was the very foundation of the African tribal nation of Wakanda—
worth millions of dollars per gram!
And yet this armor was forged entirely from it?!
Did the Holy Lord have a private mine?!
"Any material alloyed with even a trace of vibranium gains incredible hardness," Tina remarked, trying to sound composed. "Looks like the Lightning Demon's equipment just got a serious upgrade."
She still hadn't realized the true magnitude of what was happening.
Whoosh!
A wave of floating energy rippled outward.
The vibranium battle suit disassembled into separate components—
—then reassembled seamlessly around Zhong Su's body.
The outdated armor was perfectly replaced.
Out with the old, in with the new.
Buzz!
Runes across the armor's surface lit up in dazzling brilliance.
An overwhelming sense of might and mastery surged through him.
"Holy Lord!" Zhong Su exclaimed, giving a thumbs-up. "This armor is extraordinary!"
He ran his fingers along the engraved rune patterns.
With his vast knowledge, he could instantly tell how advanced these enchantments were—
Even among the ancient demons, not even the lunar overlord Zulan had mastered such arcane craftsmanship.
Unheard of!
It seemed the Holy Lord had not only returned to power but also gained incomprehensible new magical wisdom.
Zhong Su knew then—he had to cling tightly to this thigh of power.
Otherwise, he'd be swept away by the tides of a new era.
Eternals.
Avengers.
Mutants.
Mystic sorcerers.
God-warrior clans.
None of them were saints!
Aside from the Holy Lord, there was no one left worth relying on.
After all, time had erased all traces of his old world—his kingdom long since vanished.
The Earth he once knew was gone.

Even with the Red Queen handling communications and Madame Gao overseeing trade, the security divisions still suffered frequent incidents.
Rumor had it the Origami Thief had recently infiltrated the Life Foundation, almost stealing a sample of the second-generation super-serum!
"…Ikaris," Tina said softly, her smooth, golden hair swaying. "Are you alright?"
"Just a bit dizzy," the short-haired man replied with a smile.
Ikaris—
—a near-perfect physical being, immune to most energy attacks, able to manipulate cosmic energy, fly at incredible speed, and regenerate swiftly.
His combat power rivaled that of a top-tier Heavenly Father!
Of course, not the Almighty level, but somewhere between Upper and Almighty.
After all, true Heavenly Fathers were gods—
—the divine rulers of Earth's pantheons, basking in the faith of their followers.
If a god were to burn their faith power in battle, the resulting explosion of might could far exceed their rank.
But few ever dared to do so—
—for when faith runs dry… the god is erased.
"Alright," Tina said quickly, "don't forget the Celestials' command."
The Celestials had explicitly forbidden the Eternals from interfering in mortal affairs.
Even though the Eternals had the power to reshape wars and rewrite history, they could only watch from the shadows as tragedy unfolded again and again.
"What a pity," Ikaris sighed.
The light in his eyes dimmed, fading to calm.
Demons…
They could really take a beating.
It had been ages since he'd unleashed his heat vision so freely—
—perhaps a thousand years!
Whoosh!!
Two figures shot into the sky, streaking toward the Olympus Mountains at the southern edge of the continent.
Their speed was so great that even Shen Du was stunned—
—almost reaching the speed of light!
"They escaped?!"
The lightning demon, still intoxicated by his newfound power, suddenly snapped to his senses.
He wanted to give chase—
After all, the vibranium armor filled him with unshakable confidence!
He would not lose to Ikaris again!
"Don't chase a cornered foe," Shen Du said solemnly.
He knew well that such a power gap couldn't be bridged with just a suit of armor.
The Eternals—
—as the Celestials' first creations—
—had been blessed with terrifying gifts.
"Sooner or later, the Eternals will fall," Zhong Su growled, clenching his fist until it cracked.
Returning to Sokovia, they found themselves grateful that the battle had taken place far from Mount Wundagore—
Otherwise, even the vibranium mines beneath it might have collapsed and been lost forever.
