The Great Big Auxiliary

So a little bird told me the esteemed readers of Webnovel genuinely love these Auxiliary Chapters... and that I was missing out... so here it is, delayed though it may be... >.<

---------------------------------------------------

This Chapter may contain spoilers for any who haven't yet caught up with the latest chapters.

You can choose to skip my ramblings below each category, but a brief explanation is there if you feel curious.

Read at your own discretion.

NOTES: Hunter Ranks and Beast Classes are paired in levels of strength. However, Beasts will generally be stronger than Hunters in the same rank. So for example, a Crisis Class Beast would normally be considered to be at the same level as a Gold Rank Hunter, but only an extremely talented Gold Rank Hunter would be capable of beating it in solo combat.

The majority of Telaria's residents would tell you that to kill a Crisis Class Beast, you'd best hire a Gold-Rank Party/Guild.

SKILL RANKS - Same as HUNTER RANKS

---------------------------------------------------

Gift/Talent Ranks

1. F

2. E

3. D

4. C

5. B

6. A

7. S

8. SS

9. SSS

Gifts don't really scale the same way Ranks or Skills do, but Hunters or Beasts with Gifts are generally superior to their counterparts without Gifts. (But this is not a hard rule).

There are ranks beyond "SSS", but I'm purposefully skipping out on revealing how many ranks there are beyond this, because it would take away from the reveal of the true grade of Axel's Gift.

Additionally, Hunters with higher grade gifts aren't necessarily superior to Hunters with a lower grade gift, (Unless the difference in grades is staggering, like the difference between C grade and SSS grade, for example.) And even then, my world's power system and battle mechanics make it so that beings without talents or low grade talents, can still compete with those at the top.

Which brings us to the next section, MASTERY.

---------------------------------------------------

Mastery is probably the single greatest indicator of an individual's skill in combat. It is a measurement of one's capabilities outside the limitations of Attributes or Rank.

MASTERY

1. Basic

2. Adept

3. Advanced

4. Expert

5. Master

6. Grandmaster

7. Sage

MASTERY levels are applied to every path of combat, regardless of what mixture of paths you may choose to follow. These levels can indicate your skill with two categories of things.

Weapon Mastery and Elemental Mastery.

Up to Level 4 (Expert) the level of mastery comes before the type, like this: "Adept Swordsman", "Basic Fire Mage", "Expert Shield-bearer".

Beyond that, the mastery comes after the type, like this: "Sword Master", "Fire Sage", "Spear Grandmaster".

Of course, there are mastery levels beyond this, however I have once again chosen to omit them for the sake of suspense.

---------------------------------------------------

This chapter will continue to be updated as the story progresses. But I believe this should be enough for now.

I hope to see yall in them chappies!
