Lin Chen went upstairs to the rest area on the top floor. Three girls were already crying, their faces swollen from sobbing.
As soon as they saw him, they rushed over, throwing themselves into his arms.
"Master! You have to help us!"
Lin Chen finally disentangled himself. "What on earth happened?"
A white girl named Lily burst into tears. "Master, that liar Owen cheated me out of the money I worked years to save!"
A black girl with a curvy figure cried, "He lied to me too!"
Lin Chen asked for a photo of Owen. In it, the man had handsome blond hair, sharp facial features, and a roguish smile that seemed deadly to women.
Zhizhi leaned over, pouting. "This Owen still wants to mess with me… but fortunately, I have a Taoist leader in my heart."
Lin Chen rubbed his forehead. "Zhizhi, speak clearly and move your feet, will you? 99"
"Master, you must help—let me press your shoulders for support!"
Lin Chen nodded, accepting her gesture. He then used water-mirror physiognomy to locate Owen.
"Got him."
"Master, let's catch him!" Lily shouted eagerly.
Lin Chen shook his head. "He left Gotham a long time ago. Now he's in New York, flying to Europe tonight."
Zhizhi and the others panicked. "What can Taoist do? That's our hard-earned money!"
Lin Chen waved his hand. "Relax, let me think."
He quickly coordinated resources. "New York? Let's find the super-killer girls—Irving might get cut into eight pieces. Mindy's Big Daddy seems on honeymoon with Kate. Lorna? Not in New York. Rod? We can find some soldiers. King Ada? Just her."
Lin Chen took out his phone and dialed Ada Wang.
"Who's this?" Ada's cold voice answered.
"Miss Wang, it's Lin Chen."
"Lin Daochang?!" Ada's surprise was audible. "You actually called me?"
Lin Chen smiled. "Miss Wang, a friend was cheated by a liar hiding in New York. He's flying to Europe tonight. I need your help."
Ada laughed proudly. "The omnipotent divine judge asks me for help? Why didn't you look for your North Star?"
Lin Chen smirked. "Since Miss Wang is unwilling, I'll find Tony Tucker instead." He tried to hang up.
"No! I'll help. Be patient when asking for help," Ada protested.
Lin Chen explained Owen's whereabouts and hotel. Ada gritted her teeth. "This scumbag deserves punishment. He deceived so many girls. Reassure them—I'll send people immediately."
"Good. I'll wait for news."
An hour later, Ada sent a video. "Daoist, mission accomplished. See who this is?"
Lily looked closely. Owen, with a blue nose and swollen face, appeared embarrassed. She screamed, "Scumbag!"
Ada scoffed. "If you weren't a power user, how could you cheat women of so much money? Now go back to the Sentry organization for observation for ten years!"
Owen slumped to the ground in fear. "Take me to the police! I'll pay back every penny…"
Everything settled smoothly.
Lin Chen smiled at Ada. "Thank you, Miss Wang."
"Lin Daochang, I didn't expect you to be so warm-hearted. My perception has changed. 99"
Lin Chen smiled. "Be interested in me… or you might fall for me."
Ada's mouth twitched. "Men slow down my draw speed. I have no interest in men!"
She laughed. "I owe you a favor. Next time Sentry hunts you in Gotham, I'll cover you. I hope the police resist when I arrest you."
Lin Chen shrugged. "Don't worry. I won't resist—just enjoy. 99"
Ada hung up the video.
Lin Chen prepared to leave, but Zhizhi and the others pressed his shoulders and pinched his legs, insisting on repaying him.
Meanwhile, Sister Widow stood on the street corner, observing. Below the gate, more than a dozen early-rising charity staff waited, whispering:
"Why don't they open the doors?"
"Finally took a day off!"
"I heard Daoist Lin lifts two stone lions at once—he's no ordinary man."
"But it's been two hours!"
Sister Widow's eyelids twitched. Fury asked her to investigate him—didn't he push him into the fire pit?
After another half hour, Lin Chen walked downstairs surrounded by the girls.
"Master, come down. I'll make sure you're pressed comfortably. It's free—we'll be together!" Lily and Zhizhi teased.
Lin Chen nodded. These girls were quite charming.
Everyone around them understood immediately. "Master, you're too strong!"
"Daoist, Renshuai is unstoppable. Leave us a way to survive."
Lin Chen cupped their hands and walked toward the shop.
Sister Widow watched him approach, quickly tossing her hair. Suddenly, she lunged, attempting to trip him.
Lin Chen had anticipated it. He stepped aside, letting her lose balance and fall helplessly.
Flushed with humiliation, she raised her head and smiled at him. "Sir, why didn't you help me?"
Lin Chen chuckled. "I thought you wouldn't fall. Your flexibility betrayed you."
Sister Widow inwardly cursed, plotting revenge.
Lin Chen observed her. "Beauty, you seem to be following me?"
She shook her head. "Sir, I don't know you—how could I follow you? 99"
Lin Chen stroked his chin. "Unscientific. The most handsome boy on this street is me. You came here because… you were interested, right?"
Sister Widow nearly choked. "Discovered? It's a narcissist!"
She shook her head. "Handsome, yes—but your brain doesn't work well."
Lin Chen shrugged. "Anyway, I just arrived. It's boring now. Fate permitting, we'll meet again."
"Boring… to me?" Sister Widow was dumbfounded. She stared after him, lost in thought.
