He glanced around and sighed.
"The chair's busted, and the table won't survive my weight. Unless you want me to fall through the floor, I'm gonna need a lift."
Evelise's one bunny ear raised.
"A lift? Don't tell me you're asking me to help you. Why would I help you?"
"Because unless you've suddenly learned to fly, that web's not coming down… or do you want me to give you a command?"
She huffed, grumbling quietly, then finally stomped over.
"Fine! But this is only because I refuse to let a spider mock me from above!"
Sid crouched down to give Evelise an easy way to climb onto his shoulder. Evelise hesitated, her face turning slightly red.
"Tch… this is ridiculous. Don't you dare make this weird."
"I'm literally kneeling on the floor. You're the one hesitating."
"I'm not hesitating!"
"Then climb already."
"Shut up!"
Evelise muttered, taking a breath before stepping closer. She carefully placed her hands on his shoulders, still frowning.
