"Experienced?"
Hearing that word, Lunara's brows curved slightly, her expression turning ugly. For a moment, she seemed to struggle with herself. Then she took a long breath, as if tearing open a scar that had been sealed for countless years.
"In that case," she said slowly, "I will tell you everything. But what you hear tonight must stay in your stomach. You are not allowed to tell anyone."
When Ethan heard this, his gaze sharpened faintly.
"Don't worry," he replied calmly. "What happens between you and me will not be known to a third person."
He paused, then added, "And don't conceal any details. If you do, it will affect my judgment of the blood contract in your body."
"Good."
Lunara nodded. Her breathing gradually steadied, but her eyes grew distant, filled with an indescribable sadness.
"When I first became aware of the world," she said softly, "I was still inside an egg."
