The eight members of Shrek Academy, now known as the "Shrek Eight Monsters," had made a perfect start to their journey at the Dou Soul Arena. They had won all four of their two-on-two matches.
Of course, their matches for the day weren't over yet. They still had one final team battle to participate in. Even though the team consisted of eight people, only seven were needed for the team battle, so it was decided that Oscar, one of the three support-type Spirit Masters on the team, would sit out. It would be a huge disadvantage to have three support-type Spirit Masters in a single battle, as their overall combat power would be too low.
The seven individuals, all wearing the same type of mask, walked into the team battle lounge to rest. While one person wearing a mask might not attract attention, seven people wearing the exact same masks walking in together was bound to get noticed. As the group entered, most of the other Spirit Masters in the lounge looked at them with wary expressions.
While Ye Yin was waiting, he suddenly remembered that he was supposed to meet with Kuang Xi. He gave some quick instructions to his teammates and then quietly left the team battle lounge by himself. Once outside, he took a mask identical to Tang San's from his Spirit tool and put it on.
"Why isn't Kuang Xi here yet?" Ye Yin wondered to himself.
Just as he was thinking, a burly man with a bare upper body and prominent dark muscles walked towards him. "This must be Kuang Xi!"
Ye Yin quickly hurried over. "Are you Kuang Xi, the captain of the Kuangzhan Team, who's been making a name for himself recently in the Soto Great Soul Arena?"
Kuang Xi seemed surprised. "You know me?"
Ye Yin nodded enthusiastically. "Of course! I'm your opponent for this Dou Soul Arena match. I'm a big fan of yours! You've already won seven consecutive matches and you're about to get your eighth. My teammates insist on stopping you, but I completely disagree with them. I came here specifically to give you some information about my teammates."
Kuang Xi's face immediately lit up with joy. "Well, that's great! My friend, come on. Let's go to the Kuangzhan Team's lounge and talk more."
Ye Yin followed Kuang Xi back to his team's lounge, where the other six members of the Kuangzhan Team were waiting. Teams that achieve a long winning streak often get some special treatment.
As soon as they entered, Kuang Xi asked, "Brother, do you have a girlfriend? If not, how about I introduce you to one?"
Ye Yin shook his head. "I do, actually."
Kuang Xi smiled, looking at the Spider Woman sitting in the middle of the lounge. "Even if you do, she might not be as beautiful as the one I'm about to introduce."
The Spider Woman was heavily made up and dressed in a revealing way. Her upper body was covered only by a bustier, and her skirt was so thin it was see-through.
She gave Ye Yin a flirtatious look. "Who do you think is prettier, me or your girlfriend? I could keep you company and we could have a good time later…"
Ye Yin looked at the Spider Woman's heavy makeup and frowned. "My girlfriend never wears makeup. You, on the other hand, look like a piece of hoarfrost on a winter melon. It's not a good comparison."
The Spider Woman's smile vanished. She was furious.

"You're looking for death!" she screamed. "I'm going to strangle you with my own hands today!" She immediately charged at Ye Yin.
"Hey, hey, hey!" Kuang Xi quickly called out to Twin Monkeys and Twin Sheep to stop her. "This brother has a sharp tongue, but he brought us information for tonight's team battle. Calm down, calm down."
Upon hearing this, the others managed to restrain the Spider Woman. "Fine," she hissed. "I'll let you off the hook for now."

Kuang Xi warmly pulled Ye Yin to the side. "First, tell us about their Spirit ring configuration, alright? What Spirit Abilities do they have?"
Ye Yin tilted his head and stroked his chin. "I know all about that! You all know their nicknames, right? For example, my nickname is Blue Silver Entanglement."
Kuang Xi nodded. "Of course we do. We know what mask each person wears and what their nickname is. Just tell us what abilities they have. Let's start with the captain—the one nicknamed 'Sunny Happy Big Boy.'"
Ye Yin nodded again. "He lives up to his name. He's a bit handsome, but he's useless. Even though he has three thousand-year Spirit rings, his Spirit Abilities don't have any effect at all. They're just for show."
The Kuangzhan Team members were stunned. "Three thousand-year Spirit rings?! You've got to be kidding us!"
Ye Yin rolled his eyes. "Why would I lie? What's the point? Then there's the vice-captain, Evil Eyes White Tiger. Although his Spirit is a White Tiger, it's actually a mutated one. He's an agility-attack system Spirit Master."
Kuang Xi nodded repeatedly. "So that's how it is. If you hadn't told us, we would have all thought he was a pure attack system Spirit Master."
Ye Yin agreed. "Exactly. Our team is called the Shrek Eight Monsters. Each of our Spirits is unique, which is why we came together. Our strategy is to have Evil Eyes White Tiger pretend to be an attack system Spirit Master. Then, when the opponent's attack system Spirit Master suddenly attacks with all their strength, he'll quickly pull back and flank them. He specifically targets the opponent's support and control system Spirit Masters."
Kuang Xi immediately understood. "And what about the others?"
"Soft Bones Demon Rabbit is actually a defensive Spirit Master, so you don't need to worry about her," Ye Yin continued. "As for Eight Treasure Glazed Tile, her Spirit is the Eight Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda."
"The Eight Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda?" the Kuangzhan Team members asked, confused. "Are they from the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School?"
Ye Yin shook his head. "No, no. Her Spirit just looks a lot like the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda, so it's named that. She's actually an attack system Spirit Master, but she pretends to be a support type. She's really good at pretending, too—she can even emit light just like the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda. It's specifically to trick agility-attack system Spirit Masters into coming after her. Her first Spirit Ability is smashing, and her second is a self-enhancement."
Spider Woman listened to all of this and frowned. "I don't know, I feel like what you're saying is a little weird. Is there really such a thing as an Eight Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda?"
Ye Yin patted his chest. "Winter Melon Sister, I swear it's true. Just count the layers when you see it, and you'll know, right?"

Spider Woman was so angry her teeth hurt. She wanted nothing more than to skin Ye Yin alive.
"Evil Fire Phoenix is an attack system," Ye Yin continued, seemingly unfazed. "Blue Silver Entanglement is a control system. Hell Civet is an attack system, but she also disguises herself as an agility-attack system, just like Evil Eyes White Tiger. She pretends to be an agility-attack type, so when the opponent's control system Spirit Master comes to block her, they realize she's an attack system and can't stop her at all!"
