Chapter 174 - The Aftermath

Thor swatted away Loki's hand, then looked at him with a helpless expression. "I do want to be king, but I'm not qualified right now. I want to spend more time exploring the universe and improving my strength. If you want it, you can have the throne of Asgard. After all, you're Odin's eldest."

His casual attitude made Hela abandon her intention to fight. He was actually giving up the throne so easily.

Before, when she asked Loki what kind of person Thor was, she heard that the God of Thunder, Thor, was someone who only knew how to solve problems with his hammer, acted without considering the consequences, and was impulsive.

After this battle, if Thor had said he wanted to be king, no one in Asgard would have opposed him. Everyone had seen his sacrifices for Asgard.

Yet, he still gave up such a good opportunity, choosing to travel the universe and gain experience first.

Hela didn't know what to say for a moment. If Thor had stubbornly insisted on the throne, with her personality, she would definitely have fought him.

Now, not only did Thor not want it, but he was also leaving Asgard. Hela looked at Han Yu, seemingly asking for his opinion.

Han Yu was also surprised by this result. He had planned to give Thor the Stormbreaker if he became king of Asgard, but since Thor wanted to go out and experience the world, he definitely couldn't take a weapon of this level with him.

Stormbreaker was a rather extraordinary artifact, unlike Mjolnir. When Han Yu used it to intercept the Sea God earlier, he casually swung it, and the axe immediately sent the Sea God crashing to the ground, ultimately lopping off one of his arms, despite the Sea God's invulnerable body.

Han Yu felt that if he infused Green Lantern Energy into Stormbreaker and threw it again, its power would be such that it could easily split a planet like Earth in two, no exaggeration!

If he went out with such a weapon, what kind of training would that be? It would be like a level 50 player wielding a level 100 weapon, just mowing down experience points.

To encounter an opponent capable of matching Stormbreaker, that wasn't something Thor could handle at the moment.

No matter how strong the weapon, it needed a master who could bring out its full potential. Otherwise, wielding a max-level weapon and only being able to use basic attacks would be a miserable situation.

"Hela, if I let you be the ruler, would you wage war on the Nine Realms like before? I mean, turning the enemy into slaves," Han Yu asked.

Hela stared straight into Thor's eyes, as if trying to discern something, wondering if abandoning the throne was some sort of conspiracy. However, she saw nothing but determination, and thus sighed helplessly.

"Ugh, it's such a bother. No more fighting, no more fighting. I've been at war for so long, I should take a break."

Hela shook her head, saying that if her own brother was so carefree in giving up the throne, and she, in turn, just went out and killed indiscriminately like before, then she would seem like the "little brother" instead.

"But, I have to make this clear. I can spare those who have already submitted and didn't participate in this action. However, I won't let go of the Frost Giants, the Fire Giants, and the Vanir Gods." Hela looked at Han Yu, saying.

"They invaded Asgard in droves. If it were me, I wouldn't let them go either. Now that you're the queen, you get to decide."

Han Yu had no objections. Since the other side invaded Asgard, they should be prepared to be retaliated against. He wouldn't participate; he would only observe. If even Han Yu got involved, there would be no need to fight; they would just be wiped out completely.

"Mm, that's it for now." Hela turned her head and shouted, "Heimdall, quickly organize people to take care of the injured. Be quick about it, you're still sneaking a peek!"

Heimdall was a bit stunned. He looked at Thor, who nodded slightly at him. Heimdall immediately started organizing.

Heimdall didn't have much of an opinion on who sat on the throne. He was just the guardian of the Bifrost. Now that Hela had taken the throne, he had no objections.

As long as the actions of the person on the throne were correct and for the good of Asgard, he would devote himself to the throne. This was also his destiny.

The warriors from the three clans on Asgard's island saw several strong opponents arrive at once. Their last psychological defense crumbled, and they allowed the Asgard warriors to subdue them.

Struggling now would be futile. Being obedient might prolong their lives; resistance would probably lead to a quick end.

Han Yu didn't concern himself with the aftermath. Asgard provided him with a comfortable room and treated him with delicious food and drink.

Han Yu was now the great benefactor of Asgard. If not for him, Asgard would have already fallen and become someone else's property.

In the room, Galacta was also present.

Han Yu was playing with his phone, while Galacta stood behind him, holding some fruit and watching with interest.

"Han, what are you playing? It looks so interesting!" Watching the little figures moving around on the phone, the cool skills made Galacta's eyes glued to it.

"This is a tower-pushing game. You win by destroying the opponent's defense towers and crystal," Han Yu explained while playing.

He used a lot of gaming terms that Galacta didn't understand, but she found them interesting nonetheless. Cool characters were unleashing flashy moves, and there were also quite a few cute characters that appealed to her girly side, making her very excited to watch.

Han Yu could feel a powerful gaze coming from beside him, staring at him intently. He sighed helplessly and said, "Alright, alright, you can play for a while, but you can't do ranked matches. You can play casual matches."

"Yay!" Galacta cheered happily, taking Han Yu's phone and starting to play with great enthusiasm.

At this moment, a knock came from the door. Han Yu responded, and the door opened, revealing Hela and the brothers, Thor and Loki.

Hela had changed out of the Celestial God Armor that Han Yu had given her, now wearing a set of light, golden armor. A red cloak fell from her shoulders, and the somewhat evil, black eye makeup under her eyes was gone.

Now, she had a powdered face with a touch of lipstick. Her attire gave her an air of heroism, reducing her wildness. The removal of the black eye makeup also took away her previous charm, replacing it with an inherent nobility.

As Odin's eldest daughter and a former executor, Hela's temperament was naturally beyond that of ordinary people.

"Yo, Your Majesty, how are you?" Han Yu stood up and bowed slightly to Hela, saying with a bit of a teasing tone.
