Mephisto didn't quite catch it. "What did you say?"
Han Yu shook his head slightly. "Nothing. Let's get to the point. I don't want to waste time with you. So, what will it take for you to release Hela?"
Mephisto's long, black fingernails scraped lightly against the glass, the sound sending a chill down the spine. His eyes flickered. "You killed my child in the human realm, and now you come to me for help? Isn't that a bit inappropriate?"
"What's inappropriate? A guy like you, do you even care about that kind of thing?" Han Yu pursed his lips and smiled faintly.
"Heh, I think Mr. Han may have misunderstood. That was my own flesh and blood..." Mephisto paused, seemingly lost in thought. The next moment, he said, "You'll have to pay more!"
Han Yu rolled his eyes. After all that talk, it just came down to money. He could have just said so. What was all this about flesh and blood? A Greater Demon like Mephisto, devoid of emotions, would care about that?
And this so-called flesh and blood was probably something he conjured up using some unknown method, not like humans giving birth. Mephisto's children were basically self-produced, a sort of hermaphrodite.
That was also why he could see the upper limit of the child's abilities at a glance, which took away a lot of the fun.
So, he had his eye on Hela. If Mephisto and Hela had a child, it would undoubtedly be another Greater Demon.
You see, across the entire Nine Realms, there's only one Greater Demon: Mephisto. He, as a single Greater Demon, rules over all of Hell. If there were another one, humanity would be hard-pressed to survive.
"What do you want? Just say it," Han Yu said calmly, his expression unchanged.
Seeing his natural demeanor, Loki's previously agitated mood suddenly calmed down considerably. When Han Yu helped Thor before, he had watched from the side and felt that this human youth was incredibly powerful. He had always been thinking about whether he could tag along with him.
However, due to Odin losing his divine power, Loki also had to stay in Asgard. Although he was usually rebellious, he still had a lot of affection for the place he had grown up in.
He was of Frost Giant blood, but deep down, he had long considered himself an Asgardian, caring about Asgard. His words of dislike were just a tough facade.
Whew, Asgard should be safe now.
Loki breathed a sigh of relief in his heart, not revealing it on the surface.
If either side in a negotiation is relieved or even sighs with relief at the other's terms, it means they can afford those terms and still have plenty left to trade.
At this point, the other side is very likely to change their mind and raise the price, turning an advantage into a disadvantage. Loki still had some experience with this, so he was only secretly pleased.
I hope they don't start fighting, right? Loki murmured inwardly.
Mephisto was a powerful figure in Hell, and even in the Nine Realms, he was a top-tier combatant. Han Yu's strength was definitely a bit stronger than his, even if not by much, he wouldn't lose, of that Loki was certain, otherwise he wouldn't have come to Hell with him so easily.
Both were beings capable of dominating the world; if they fought, this small Hell wouldn't be enough for them to stretch their legs.
At this moment, Mephisto didn't know what Loki was thinking. He didn't immediately reply, but instead fixed his gaze on Han Yu for a moment, then turned to the few people behind him.
"Johnny... that kid's one of mine, how'd he end up on the other side?"
"Loki... son of Odin, hmm, not much use to me."
"Hey, this girl, what's she doing here?"
Mephisto's gaze landed on Galacta. The girl was both unfamiliar and familiar, as if he'd seen her thousands of years ago. Back then, Mephisto was just a small demon, but Galacta was already incredibly powerful. Now, he saw her standing behind Han Yu.
Interesting, really interesting. The people around this guy are all pretty powerful. Ultron, Quicksilver, Wanda, and now even Galacta is by his side.
Mephisto murmured inwardly, a faint light flickering in his eyes.
"Did this guy recognize Galacta?"
Han Yu noticed his gaze shifting. He probably recognized Galacta. He didn't say anything. If the other party proposed exchanging Galacta, without waiting for her to speak, Han Yu would flip the table first.
After the time it took to drink a cup of tea, Mephisto spoke, "How about this? I don't want anything from you. I just want to make a friend, how about it?"
Upon hearing Mephisto's request, Johnny was the most surprised. Calling Mephisto evil was just an introductory description. As a Greater Demon, only he knew how many terrifying things he had done.
Such a Greater Demon taking the initiative to make friends was unsettling. It made one worry he might suddenly stab you in the back. Mephisto was the kind of person you neither wanted to offend nor get close to; the further away, the better.
"That's it?"
"That's it." "Deal!"
Han Yu and Mephisto shook hands. It looked more like a transaction than making friends.
The reason Mephisto wanted to befriend Han Yu was because the people around him were too powerful. Even someone like Galacta was by his side, and she was the daughter of Galactus.
Before Galactus, Mephisto was just a little brother. Not to mention Galactus, he might not even be able to beat Galacta.
Making friends with such a person would certainly bring him benefits in the future. This was Mephisto's consideration. It was very pragmatic, but in the adult world, who wasn't in it for the benefits?
"Let's go. Take me to see Hela." Han Yu stood up and said.
Mephisto nodded and said, "Alright, let's go. Sebastian, prepare the car. We're going to find Hela!"
The butler soon brought a car over, a stretched limousine.
Looking at the luxurious vehicle, Han Yu smiled at Mephisto. "You've got good taste, driving around in a car like this, even in Hell."
"One must maintain a certain standard of living," Mephisto chuckled, getting into the car first.
Han Yu got in, and the others followed suit.
As the engine roared to life, the wheels of the limousine ignited in flames, just like Johnny the Ghost Rider's motorcycle. No doubt, it was Hellfire.
The car shot forward like an arrow, instantly disappearing and leaving only faint traces of fiery tire tracks in the air.
The car was incredibly fast, but after only five minutes, the speed began to slow.
"We're here already? That fast?" Loki said, a little surprised. "We're taking a car for such a short distance?"
