The Dark Elf laughed, kicking Thor hard in the chest again. The force of the kick cracked the thick stone ground around them.
"Without the Hammer... what am I..."
"Yeah, without the Hammer, what can I do? I can't do anything."
"Will I die because of this..."
Thor, dazed from the beating, suddenly remembered what Han Yu had said earlier at the Avengers Alliance Building.
"Your Hammer is indeed good, a great thing, but don't keep throwing it around. You are Thor, not the god of the Hammer."
"Right, I am Thor! My power doesn't come from the Hammer, I'm not the god of the Hammer!"
At this moment, Han Yu's eyes suddenly became hot, because he saw the electric arcs appearing on Thor's hands and the lightning flashing in his eyes. He couldn't help but say, "It's coming!"
As quick as a flash, Loki, who had been looking at Thor after hearing Han Yu's words, saw the enhanced Dark Elf fly high into the air, struck down by an extremely thick bolt of lightning.
Then, Thor, lying on the ground, floated up without any support. His eyes were filled with lightning, and the arcs of electricity around him looked incredibly cool.
"You took action just now, now it's my turn!"
Columns of terrifyingly thick lightning kept descending from the sky, striking the enhanced Dark Elf. The extreme heat and power made it impossible for him to even struggle, his entire body numb and in excruciating pain from the electricity.
"It's not over yet!"
Lightning surged in Thor's hand, transforming into a Thunder Spear. Gripping the spear tightly, Thor hurled it, piercing the enhanced Dark Elf's chest.
Thunderclouds gathered in the sky, and powerful lightning, impossible to ignore, descended from the heavens,轰向 the enhanced Dark Elf in the crater.
"So...strong! I've never seen Thor use his Power of Thunder like this!" Loki murmured, this is Thor's true strength.
This scene, which could be called "cruel," lasted for nearly a minute. The enhanced Dark Elf was struck by countless bolts of lightning, driven deep into the earth.
The lightning in the pit dissipated, finally revealing the appearance of the enhanced Dark Elf.
It was no longer human. The Dark Elf in the pit was a charred mass, so badly burned that it was impossible to tell where its head had been. It was just a black, smoldering thing.
Thor was breathing heavily. The attack he'd just unleashed was his most powerful lightning strike to date, far superior to simply throwing his Hammer.
"So, this is my true power? I can be this strong?"
Looking at his hands, where arcs of electricity danced, Thor felt a surge of power within him that he'd never experienced before.
Clap, clap, clap!
Clear applause sounded behind him. Han Yu walked over with a smile and said, "Congratulations! You are now the true Thor!"
"So, that was your plan..."
Seeing the smile on Han Yu's face, Thor also understood something. The other person had taken his Hammer but wasn't coming to help, just so he could use his own power, rather than releasing it through the Hammer.
"Don't take it the wrong way. You know, your father has already lost his divine power. Asgard can't be without someone in charge. This one super soldier already beat you up like that. What will you do if stronger enemies come?"
Han Yu tossed the Hammer, the handle facing Thor, and handed it to him.
Thor silently accepted the Hammer, staring blankly at the war hammer that had accompanied him for thousands of years, without saying a word.
Han Yu didn't speak either, letting him quietly think for a moment.
Loki couldn't sit still. He didn't know that Odin had lost his divine power. Hearing this, he asked the two of them:
"Odin has lost his divine power? Really?"
"Thor, is what he said true?"
"Han Yu, is what you said true?"
"You two, just say something, anything! True or false, just a response is fine!"
Loki chattered on for five or six minutes, but no one paid him any mind. He had to admit defeat and shut his mouth, figuring he'd ask later when he had a chance to get back.
"Han, you're right," Thor chuckled, his smile filled with understanding and a sense of freedom. He offered the Hammer to Han Yu again, saying, "Could you keep this Hammer for me for now? When I'm truly worthy of wielding it, I'll come to you personally!"
Han Yu hadn't anticipated this move. He paused for a moment, then smiled and accepted the Hammer.
"I'll keep this Hammer in Asgard. If you encounter a problem you really can't solve, then you can pick it up!"
Han Yu smiled and agreed with Thor's decision. He was pleased that Thor thought this way.
The enemies ahead wouldn't be on Malekith's level. Each one of them could be called a god, their combat strength far exceeding Malekith's by a significant margin.
Han Yu had promised Odin to protect Asgard until Thor could rise again, but he couldn't watch over it forever.
Han Yu said, "You're much stronger than before, at least you've truly grasped the Power of Thunder."
Looking towards the horizon, the Dark Elf's ship had already disappeared into the dark time. Sighing helplessly, Thor said, "What's the use of being strong now? Malekith has already escaped. We failed to annihilate them all, and they'll likely regroup and wait for another chance."
Han Yu smiled slightly and looked towards the sky as well, chuckling, "They won't get away."
"Hmm?"
Thor and the other two followed Han Yu's gaze, and all three of them were stunned. In the sky, Malekith's ship had re-entered the planet, but they felt that its flight path was a bit strange.
"Are they... flying backwards?" Jane's voice was weak.
Only then did Thor and Loki notice that the ship they saw was facing them with its backside. The ship was still spewing flames, but it wasn't moving forward at all; it was actually falling.
"There are two green lights!"
Loki pointed to the sides of the ship. At the left and right ends of the cross-shaped ship, two green lights could be vaguely seen holding it in place. It was these two lights that were causing the ship to move backward instead of forward.
Thor and the others simultaneously looked at Han Yu because they all knew that the only one among them who used green energy was Han Yu.
Seeing the two of them turn their gaze to him, Han Yu shrugged his shoulders innocently and said, "This time it has nothing to do with me. I didn't make a move."
Although he said that, the corners of Han Yu's mouth had already slightly lifted. Indeed, it wasn't him who made the move, but he knew who did it.
Inside the ship, the command room was in chaos because of the constant descent and inability to find a cause.
"What's going on? Why are we still descending? Quickly open fire and ascend!" Malekith shouted at his subordinates in the command room.
"Sir, we've already opened maximum firepower. It seems like something is holding us on both sides and bringing us down," a Dark Elf soldier said. "I'll open the camera there for you to see."
The image projected onto the main screen, and everyone looked over curiously. The scene that unfolded left everyone stunned.
In two beams of green light, two figures were pressed against a spaceship. They seemed to be holding something in their hands. Upon closer inspection, it appeared to be... Instant Noodles?
