Several hours later, the private island finally appeared beneath us.
I pressed my face against the window.
"Oh."
Even I had to admit it.
It was beautiful.
Crystal-blue waters surrounded the island, so clear that I could see patches of white sand beneath the surface. White beaches stretched along the coastline, while enormous villas were scattered among the lush greenery like someone had decided that ordinary luxury wasn't good enough.
There was even a massive outdoor stage near the center of the island.
Lights surrounded it from every angle, and towering screens had been installed behind the stage, probably large enough to make sure even someone watching from the other side of the island could see what was happening.
This wasn't a competition venue.
This was a freaking kingdom.
And that stage was going to be the center of it all.
This time, the competition would be a little different.
