Clara's eyes gleamed with mischief. "Eliza confirmed there's a member of the Draconia Clan there."
The moment Dahlia heard that name, she stopped moving.
One of the recruits in front of her was mid-punch, but she didn't even look at him.
"Hold," she said calmly.
The recruit froze instantly.
Dahlia slowly turned her head toward Clara. Her expression did not explode with anger. Instead, her lips curved into a small smirk.
"I see."
She reached up and stretched her neck from side to side. A faint crack sounded as her muscles loosened.
"So," she continued casually, "this is the one leading the pirates?"
Clara nodded. "Looks like it. Eliza tracked their movements for two weeks. She heard the name 'Draconia' from the pirates."
Dahlia's eyes sharpened slightly. She walked past Clara toward the open doors of the gym.
"For them to send someone personally…" she muttered. "That's bold."
Clara stepped beside her and leaned against the doorframe. "Or desperate."
