Drey POV
My wolf had been restless all day. I knew there was trouble in Atlas and the upcoming duel.
Becky has completely pushed me away giving me no room to help her.
This night restlessness was different I could feel it even in my bones.
Then my wolf started pulling me towards that one person that makes me worried.
Becky.
That was why my wolf had been like this… I gasp.
Before I could realize I was already out under the cold moonlight thankfully my Beta had not seen me.
I was heading for the place she lived although she said her mum didn't want me near as long as I saw she was fine I would return back.
The moment I got close to the house, everything inside me snapped tight.
A sharp, metallic scent brushed the air.
Poison.
My wolf slammed so hard against my chest I stumbled a step. I heightened my senses and then I heard a faint groan from inside the villa.
That was a male groaning.
I knew danger lived inside because the poison that filled the air.
