Before Helcia could say anything, Lando quickly said, "No, I'm sorry. I was just talking nonsense. Don't think too much about it." Then he added, "FaceTime is great. We can do that often."
He cleared his throat and turned to look out the car window. Quietly, he bumped his head against the glass a few times, embarrassed that he had just said something so stupid.
Forget about sleeping in the same bedroom, their relationship wasn't even that stable yet. And it wasn't just about making love, but also the fact that he was still hiding his real identity and the truth that he could already walk normally.
To be honest, it wasn't fair. Henry already knew he could walk, and so did some of the staff at home and at his office.
But Lando still found it hard to explain everything to Helcia. His worries didn't really have a strong reason, but this was his first serious relationship, and he truly didn't want to ruin it.
