"Mr. Brixton, the president of Goldenline Bank is on the line," Lando's secretary informed him over the phone.
Lando answered simply, "Put him through."
Within seconds, the call connected to Raul Crestwell, the president of Goldenline Bank. His voice carried a slight tremor when he spoke. "Mr … Lan?"
There were plenty of rumors floating around about him; people outside Zentra liked to whisper that he was called Mr. X. But in reality, Lando had been using the name Mr. Lan from the very beginning. Only a few people close to him, like his secretary and assistant, knew his real name.
Still, because the company needed an official figure to list as the President of Zentra, his most trusted subordinate took that position on paper. Everyone, however, knew that man was nothing more than a puppet working under the mysterious Mr. Lan.
"Mr. Crestwell," Lando said calmly. "I believe you already know what this is about, and why I wanted to speak with you directly."
