Chapter 186 - Chapter 186: A Thousand-Meter-Class Titan

Buildings collapsed. The earth trembled.

No one knew who had disturbed the world—no one knew who was about to bring fate to its end.

In a blinding burst of golden light, a violent wind rose and hurled everything around them up and away.

The Walls cracked. Bricks and stone peeled off and rained down, and every Titan sealed inside regained consciousness, staring clearly at the world before them.

Obeying the will of the one who guided them, they smashed through the prison of the Wall and stomped it beneath their feet.

They swung their enormous arms, lifted their heads, and roared at the sky.

The sound was thunderous and savage—like lightning hidden in the clouds, like the world splitting apart.

It pierced straight through every chest, overwhelming everyone, even seizing control of their bodies until their limbs no longer felt like their own.

How huge…!

Towering. Colossal. There were no words that could describe what stood before them—no words that could retell what they were seeing!

They stared in a daze. They watched in terror. In that moment, they were all insects.

When the dazzling light finally faded, they could clearly see a massive presence standing in front of them.

They couldn't make out what it was. They couldn't even explain what it was.

Looking up, people could only see a part of it.

To see its full form, you'd have to stand on a mountain ten kilometers away and look from there.

The only thing they truly remembered was the hand that had appeared inside the light.

A Titan's hand.

It rose as if from the ground itself, and with a palm so vast it felt like a continent, it lifted the people standing on it—men and horses together—hoisting them into the air, hundreds of meters up.

They stared at it, stunned. Even the bravest among them couldn't bring themselves to look into those enormous eyes. In truth, keeping their emotions from collapsing was already an achievement.

In that sense, animals were calmer than humans.

They were terrified, yes—but their first instinct was to run, to scatter in every direction and escape.

Humans, on the other hand, simply gave up. They stopped thinking about survival at all.

Hange couldn't bear to look at Roger's Titan form any longer. She tore her eyes away, fixed them on the palm beneath her, and lied to herself with everything she had—telling herself she was still on the ground, that no Titan had seized her.

Historia panicked too. She collapsed, tears pooling in her eyes.

But even now, she kept thinking about Roger's words.

He won't kill me.

So she clung to the surface with both hands, fighting with all her strength not to slip.

Connie, Jean, Sasha, and the others weren't so lucky.

They slid toward the edge of the palm, about to fall. Thankfully, they still had their ODM gear.

But that only made it more terrifying.

Hanging from Roger's palm by their lines, they couldn't comprehend that they were suspended at such a height—so high that everything below looked unreal, tiny, meaningless.

Houses on the ground shrank into specks. People became ants—like they could be crushed with a casual pinch.

Outside the Walls—

Every soldier of the World Allied Forces was stunned. They watched the Wall rupture completely as countless Colossal Titans emerged from within.

These Colossal Titans were no different from Marley's Colossal Titan—just looking at them carried overwhelming dominance and terror.

Back on the battlefield, a single Colossal Titan had been enough to force the entire world into retreat.

With that Titan as its trump card, the Marleyan Empire had once been on the verge of swallowing the world's lands whole.

And now… there were so many of them.

Just standing together, they were enough to shatter every ounce of courage in the human heart.

Too terrifying.

"So the rumors were true!"

"King Fritz isn't dead!"

"He really still has a thousand Titans!"

"No—this is Roger! He's the one who stole the Founding power!"

"Stop talking—run!!!"

Panic exploded through the ranks. In an instant, soldiers threw down gear and weapons, fleeing toward the battleships in the rear.

And then, at last, Roger summoned the rest of his full body.

The only ones who could see his complete form were the airships flying overhead—those responsible for delivering supplies to the allied army.

Even they had to crane their necks to look up.

"What kind of monster is that?!"

"My God—how big is he?!"

"Look at the buildings by his feet! By my estimate… he's a thousand meters tall!"

"A thousand meters?!"

On the airship, the word tore through the cockpit. Shock and terror flooded every face, dragging the fear in their hearts fully into the open.

"We're finished…"

"Humans can't possibly beat him…"

"We need support! We need support!!"

The airship turned, trying to flee.

But it was so slow. After flying for a long time, it had only just cleared the space between Roger's knees.

Now, as a thousand-meter Titan, Roger sat atop the fifty-meter Wall gate, letting the airship pass close by. He looked down at the panicked people at his feet, and his voice exploded like thunder.

"You are not pigs, dogs, or livestock. You are my soldiers."

"Come with me!"

"At the end of the world… is the enemy!"

As he spoke, he focused his will and rewrote the genetics of his entire people.

At that moment—

In some corner of Paradis Island…

Dior Brando suddenly froze, then turned his head to look back.

And there it was—a Titan so horrifying it stood between heaven and earth.

His expression hardened into grim fury. Gripping his parasol tight, he ordered everyone to advance on Roger—no matter what, they had to seize his Source of the World before the next sunrise.

And at the same time, the Eldians on the ground heard the message of the Founding Titan. They finally understood why Roger had forced them to endure such catastrophic disaster.

With that thought, they dropped to their knees one after another, swearing from the depths of their hearts to give everything in loyalty to Roger.

Then, under Roger's guidance, those kneeling people had their genes altered—and became Colossal Titans.

What thrilled them beyond belief was this: they still retained their own will, and they still possessed Colossal power.

"We're Titans too!!"

"We can protect ourselves now!!"

They shouted with ecstatic joy and immediately joined the Rumbling's Titan ranks.

Roger looked down at these Titans—barely reaching his ankle—and rose from the shattered Wall, black flames igniting across his entire body. He pointed forward.

"Soldiers… advance!!"
