"Ah!" A visible shockwave rapidly shot toward Liu Xiu and Meng Ran.
Meng Ran felt a bad premonition the moment he saw the woman open her mouth.
After warning Liu Xiu, he instantly teleported out of the shockwave's attack range.
At the same time, Liu Xiu adjusted his stance and soared into the sky.
The three enemies in front of him had no means of flight, giving him an aerial advantage.
As the two quickly dodged, the shockwave hit the ground where they had just been standing.

The magician, holding a simple lighter, looked stunned at Meng Ran from a distance.
He hadn't expected his long-charged attack to be instantly neutralized.

"This one can control fire, but can't generate it himself; otherwise, he wouldn't need a lighter."

While analyzing, Meng Ran didn't hesitate. Raising Qie Yun, he unleashed a rapid flurry of slashes.
A vast canopy of blade light formed, sweeping toward the magician.

The sharp spikes pierced her limbs instantly, and her attempted sonic attack turned into a shrill scream.
The spikes then transformed into soft tendrils, tightly wrapping the Singer's delicate body.
Meanwhile, Liu Xiu was enduring extreme agony.
The man known as Lang raised his hand, intently focusing on Liu Xiu, who writhed on the ground.
"Ah!" Liu Xiu screamed, and the surrounding soil and ground were crushed into dust by an invisible force.
Around him, a roughly 10-meter-diameter circle formed on the ground, deepening under the pressure. The soil inside became dense and solid, almost like cement, compared to the surrounding soft earth.
Lang remained at a safe distance, continually exerting mental pressure and attacks on Liu Xiu.
His ability was mental assault—an A-class psychic attack.
In just one second, he could reduce an ordinary person to a vegetative state.
Against other superhumans or powerful enemies, Lang only needed to maintain pressure until their minds collapsed, usually within two minutes.
