After discussing the team name, Meng Ran, Peter, and Gwen set off.
The sky was already darkening. The three of them went to the locations of the three shareholders, respectively, and lay in wait, expecting the Green Goblin to appear.
Meng Ran squatted on the roof of a villa, activating Ghost Stealth, perfectly concealing himself.
Downstairs in the villa, Palt was sitting on the sofa, repeatedly watching the news about the Osborn Group's explosion today, watching the Green Goblin glide past the door again and again, dropping Bombs.
He sensed that this matter was inseparable from Norman. How could it be such a coincidence? Today they held a shareholders' meeting, preparing to completely kick Norman out.
As a result, just before the meeting, such a crazy monster appeared and threw a Bomb, killing a large number of people who, like him, opposed Norman.
Palt wouldn't think this person was Norman. He thought this was a killer Norman hired to eliminate them, Norman's opponents.
Listening to the Green Goblin's strange laughter in the video, Palt felt a chill down his spine. If he hadn't gone to the meeting room first today, he would definitely be on the death list.
Palt shivered, quickly taking a drink to calm his nerves.
Just as he was about to put down his glass, a strange laughter suddenly came from outside his villa.
This laughter was incredibly piercing, as if it had exploded directly inside Palt's head.
Palt was so startled that his hand shook, and the glass fell to the ground. The remaining liquor splashed onto his foot, but he didn't care. He hurriedly looked out the window.
Along with the bursts of maniacal laughter, a green figure riding a strange Glider slowly approached. He was circling in the air, like he was performing acrobatics, occasionally dropping a yellow Bomb from the sky, which caused a violent explosion when it hit the ground.
Palt's face turned pale as he watched the Green Goblin approach. He immediately ran into the room; the large floor-to-ceiling window no longer gave him any sense of security.
Meng Ran, on the roof, narrowed his eyes as he watched the approaching figure.
"Little White, notify Gwen and Peter that the Green Goblin is here with me. Tell them to come over."
"Then open the recording from the Combat Suit's eyes."
Meng Ran issued the command to Little White while watching the Green Goblin approach.
The Green Goblin flew close to the villa, no longer circling in the air, but instead directly launched several Bombs towards the house.
Just as his Bombs were released, several streaks of blade light suddenly flew from the roof, each one precisely striking the Bombs he had just thrown.
The Green Goblin's Bombs were sliced and exploded by Meng Ran before they had even traveled far, and the resulting shockwave flipped the Green Goblin himself twice in the air.
Simultaneously with being blown back by the Bombs, the Green Goblin let out a strange cry.
Meng Ran listened to the sound and thought, speechless: This guy's throat is probably a noise weapon, it's so unpleasant.
Thinking this, Meng Ran's movements were not slow at all. His figure flashed, and he instantly teleported in front of the Green Goblin.
Green Goblin had just stabilized himself when Meng Ran's blade came down on him. He quickly maneuvered his Glider, barely dodging the blow.
Even though he dodged it, a gash was still cut into the side of the Green Goblin's Flying Device.
Green Goblin was somewhat enraged and immediately, several metal-winged Bombs flew out from under his Glider.
The Bombs flapped their wings and flew towards Meng Ran.
Meng Ran circled a few times before realizing they were tracking missiles. He then slashed out several beams of blade light, exploding the Bombs.
Then, Meng Ran teleported, appearing directly in front of Green Goblin. He then kicked out, sending him flying off the Flying Device.
After kicking Green Goblin off, Meng Ran slashed at the Flying Device beneath his feet, cutting it in two. The Flying Device split in half, emitting a hissing electrical sound as it fell to the ground.
After Green Goblin landed and stood up, he was suddenly entangled by Webbing shot from behind.
Then, with a forceful pull, he yanked the Green Goblin, sending him crashing into two large trees before finally sticking to another one.
It was Gwen and Peter who had arrived.
After hitting the tree, the Green Goblin was ensnared in countless webs, front and back, pinning him firmly to the trunk.
Subsequently, Meng Ran and the others landed in front of the Green Goblin.
Meng Ran hesitated briefly before reaching out and removing the mask from the Green Goblin's face.
Beneath the mask was a handsome middle-aged face, none other than Norman Osborn.
At this moment, Norman lacked any trace of the humor and friendliness he displayed at home during the day. Instead, he resembled a frenzied madman, his eyes glowing intensely green, his features contorted, and a strange, chilling laugh escaping his lips: "Heh heh heh heh heh."
Seeing that it was indeed Norman Osborn, Meng Ran and the others fell silent.
Norman looked at the two men and one woman in front of him, his expression gradually calming.
He suddenly thought of Meng Ran and the others who had come to his house today, and their hasty departure after seeing the news, as well as the three people standing silently in front of him now.
Norman suddenly called out to Meng Ran and the others in front of him: "It's you! So the three of you are the masked heroes who have become famous recently."
Meng Ran and the other two were shocked when they heard this. What's going on? We haven't said anything yet, how did he know it was us? Isn't this Norman Osborn a fortune teller?
Hearing Norman's words, although they were overwhelmed with shock, they still managed to remain impassive.
Norman looked at the few people in front of him, and before they could speak, his expression suddenly changed, and he began to beg: "Please, don't tell Harry, okay? I... I have sinned..."
Meng Ran looked at Norman with a complex expression, and he also thought of Harry.
Suddenly, a warning flashed in the minds of Meng Ran and the other two. They immediately jumped up, did a somersault, and then landed.
That backflip allowed the three of them to avoid the sharp protrusions of the broken flying device behind them.
Although they dodged it, Norman, who was tied to the tree, couldn't. He was directly pierced through the stomach by the sharp protrusions that rose from the front of the flying device. (A classic death, a must-pay-homage.)
Meng Ran and the other two, having avoided the sneak attack, looked at Norman in front of them, shocked.
Norman looked at the three of them in some pain, his expression finally returning to normal, and the green in his eyes was gone.
He coughed up a mouthful of blood and looked at Meng Ran and the others, slowly speaking, "My study's safe, I... I put everything there. Harry will understand it all when he sees it."
After saying this, Norman took another painful breath, and although blood was flowing from the corner of his mouth, he still smiled, "Harry has friends like you, it's really good. Tell Harry, Dad loves him."
As soon as he finished speaking, Norman lowered his head, and there was no more breath.
Meng Ran and the others were silent. They could see that Norman had finally returned to normal in his final moments.
A wave of sadness suddenly welled up in their hearts, and the complexity of their emotions was indescribable.
After a moment, Meng Ran spoke, "I'll go take care of Uncle Norman, then find Harry."
Gwen and Peter also spoke up, "We'll go too." "We'll go together."
"Even if it's Harry, we should face him together."
"We're all Harry's friends."
Meng Ran looked at Gwen and Peter, who were also looking at him with determination. Meng Ran nodded, lowered Norman from the tree, and then handled his remains, making him look as if he were just asleep.
After finishing, Meng Ran picked up Norman, nodded to Gwen and Peter, and the three of them headed toward Harry's house.
Harry's villa.
Harry was studying at his desk. Ever since Norman had fallen ill, he had required Harry to study many things, wanting to groom Harry to be independent as soon as possible.
At first, Harry really disliked it, but now he'd gotten used to it.
Harry was looking down at a book when he suddenly felt a gust of wind blow in from outside. He stood up and closed the window, muttering, "Thanksgiving is almost here."
Then Harry turned around, wanting to go back to studying.
Suddenly, he saw three figures appear in front of him.
The one in the middle was even carrying someone.
Harry was startled, and shouted, "Who are you? How did you get in here?"
He quickly grabbed a desk lamp from beside his desk, holding it in front of him as a weapon to defend himself.
Harry took a closer look at the three people. He saw three strangely dressed people standing in front of him, one of them carrying someone. He recognized them as the masked heroes who were very famous online recently.
Suddenly, he felt that the figure being carried horizontally looked familiar.
He stared intently, and his eyes widened.
"Dad... Dad?"
