Meng Ran's orderly life finally experienced a ripple.
However, this ripple didn't come from dangerous troubles, but from normal school life.
Midtown High School was holding a Parents' Day. Students were required to bring their parents to school for activities. The activities included watching performances together, allowing the parents to experience Midtown High School's excellent cultural atmosphere, and also giving Midtown High School a chance for publicity, to make good promotion for future enrollment.

Macken leaned in close to Norman's ear and whispered, "Tomorrow's shareholders' meeting is when you're out, Norman. You really should have just died. At least you would have been remembered as a success."
Hearing Macken's words, Norman's eyes flashed with a fierce light, a dark green color rising from the depths of his eyes. He grabbed Macken's neck in one swift motion.
Macken, who had been smiling smugly, was suddenly grabbed by the neck and found himself short of breath, coughing.
He grabbed Norman's hands, trying to pry them apart, but Norman's large hands were as strong as a vise, leaving him helpless.
The two's actions also caught the attention of the parents nearby. They all looked over, and Harry, having gotten his food, walked towards Norman.
Seeing Harry approaching, Norman released his grip. Macken finally broke free, rubbing his red neck with both hands, glaring at Norman fiercely.
Norman remained composed, staring back at Macken, the green light in his eyes growing more intense. Macken finally snorted and turned away.
Harry came to Norman and asked, somewhat puzzled, "Dad, what happened?"
Norman smiled, "Nothing much, just a chat with a colleague."
Then, Norman took the plate from Harry and they walked towards a table.
Meng Ran, as he ate, kept an eye on the situation over there.
The earlier conversation and conflict seemed odd to Meng Ran. Harry's father, Norman Osborn, had been on the verge of death before, but had recovered just recently.
If it could be called a cure, then what about the ferocity and green light in Norman's eyes just now, and where did that strength come from? Did the medicine come with colored contacts?
Or was Norman this strong before he got sick, and he could recover his strength as soon as he was cured.
Meng Ran pondered Norman's strange behavior just now, and couldn't help but think, "Could it be that this Uncle Norman was also bitten by a spider?"

"Whew! Spider-Man delivery! This is so tough, carrying all this stuff while swinging around," Peter complained.
Meng Ran and the others were arranging the pizzas while chatting with Peter. Venom peeked out from Meng Ran's shoulder, revealing its cute head, and said in a raspy voice, "Hey! Little Spider, my cola didn't get shaken up too much, did it?"
Peter, feeling a little guilty, said, "Probably... not. My hands are pretty steady."
Venom gave him a suspicious look and then opened the bottle cap.
Next, a stream of cola shot out of the bottle, spraying Venom in the face.
Venom immediately bared its big mouth and chased after Peter, wanting to bite him.
Peter quickly ran away, and thus began a chase around the base between him and Venom.
Meng Ran, Gwen, and Mary Jane, on the other hand, were calmly eating pizza and watching the show.
After a moment, Meng Ran called out to Venom, "If you don't come over, the pizza will be gone!"
Venom, hearing this, immediately recoiled and started devouring the pizza; Peter's pizza wasn't as tasty.
Peter was finally free and sat down, biting into a slice of pizza.
Seeing Peter seated, Meng Ran began to recount the events of the day to everyone.
Hearing Meng Ran's description, everyone felt something was amiss and were a bit worried.
Meng Ran said, "Although it's a good thing that Uncle Norman's health has improved – after all, we don't want to see Harry sad – I still feel that things aren't that simple."
Gwen nodded, agreeing, "Harry definitely wants his father to get better. He was really happy with Uncle Norman today."
