Chapter 30 - She Becomes Cute After Throwing a Tantrum

"Because I went out to play with someone else without bringing my dearest sister?"

Hoshino Miru placed his guitar aside. Seeing that Kasugano Sora wasn't too willing to come closer, he simply moved toward her and actively embraced her slender waist.

"Who's your dearest sister?" Kasugano Sora pushed against this thick-skinned guy, her cheeks slightly flushed. "We're not even biological siblings. Who you go out with has nothing to do with me."

She seemed unable to push away from his embrace, half-reluctantly allowing Hoshino Miru to hold her.

"It matters a lot. I don't like seeing Sora looking angry, though you're very cute when angry too." Hoshino Miru grabbed her wildly flailing little hands and forcibly pressed them down, his face nearly touching her neck.

"So disgusting, you smell like sweat." Kasugano Sora turned her pretty face to the other side, trying hard to distance herself from Hoshino Miru, her expression very disgusted.

"Fine, let me disgust you to death." Hoshino Miru hugged her tightly. The girl's body was small and soft, carrying a pleasant maiden's fragrance that made Hoshino Miru unconsciously draw even closer.

His breath's heat sprayed onto the fair, tender neck, causing the girl's skin to faintly take on a layer of pink color. Her chest rose and fell somewhat rapidly - the man's scent was so intense, the girl couldn't quite handle it.

Kasugano Sora glared fiercely at him. Hoshino Miru acted as if he hadn't seen it and continued holding her slender waist.

"I saw early cherry blossoms on the road today." Hoshino Miru said. "By the time school starts, there should be cherry blossoms blooming near the school too."

Kasugano Sora snorted lightly. What did cherry blossoms have to do with her? There was such a season every year - it wasn't like she hadn't seen them before.

"This guitar isn't Toyokawa-san's guitar. Another friend gave it to me. I'm going to learn some guitar from now on." Hoshino Miru continued.

"What are you learning guitar for?" Kasugano Sora couldn't help but ask. "Didn't you say before you wouldn't become an idol with Mana?"

"Idols can't date anyway - why would I become an idol?" Hoshino Miru smiled. "Won't you let me learn one more skill?"

Kasugano Sora slowly turned her head, letting out a soft hum from her nose. So if idols could date, he would go become an idol, right?

"Are you a little pig? Every time you're angry you have to huff and puff." Hoshino Miru found it somewhat amusing and reached out to pinch her nose.

"Don't touch me!" Kasugano Sora angrily swatted away his hand. This guy was really annoying - who compares girls to little pigs? Was he saying she was stupid?

"Fine, I won't touch you." Hoshino Miru paused. "But I can at least hold you, right?"

Of course that wasn't okay either. Every time he spoke, that unique heat from a boy would blow onto Kasugano Sora's neck and cheeks - hot and ticklish.

But his embrace was too comfortable. Kasugano Sora didn't really want to move, somewhat unable to resist wanting to nestle even closer into his arms, her soft little bunny pressing against him, as if her entire being could melt into his heart.

Kasugano Sora knew she shouldn't be like this - she should be angry. But with Hoshino Miru holding her like this, it wasn't that she didn't want to struggle, nor was it that she was infatuated with him - it was simply that Hoshino Miru was too forceful and she couldn't struggle free. That's all.

Hoshino Miru had long noticed the girl's attitude softening somewhat and said softly: "I was wrong to bring Toyokawa-san home yesterday. I was wrong to go out with someone today too. I've deeply reflected on this. Can you forgive me?"

Kasugano Sora was still a bit sulky. Did he think just a hug could placate her? Even adding the snacks he deliberately bought, wasn't that not enough?

This spring break was supposed to be time for just her and Hoshino Miru alone. She hadn't even seen Eriri come over, which was rare. With such a good girl by his side, why did Hoshino Miru need to go out?

But Kasugano Sora was too embarrassed to continue being angry. Just going out once and she had to throw a tantrum - there couldn't be a girl more troublesome than her in this world, right?

What if Hoshino Miru thought she was too troublesome? Wouldn't he only be able to spank her little bottom?

Kasugano Sora squirmed. She also wanted to take the easy way out and was still building up to it when she heard Hoshino Miru continue.

"But I think Sora also has something she did wrong."

Kasugano Sora looked at him incredulously, so angry her face turned completely red. She had finally decided to forgive this guy, only to hear this!

"What did I do wrong?" Kasugano Sora almost bit out each word. If he couldn't give a decent reason, someone was dead tonight!

"I brought back such a big guitar, and until now, Sora hasn't even thought about wanting to hear me play. Isn't that Sora's problem?"

Hoshino Miru righteously pointed at his guitar. Kasugano Sora looked at him, then at his guitar.

In that instant, Kasugano Sora felt she shouldn't get angry with this kind of person - it was too easy to anger herself.

"Idiot." Kasugano Sora had wanted to use a particularly cold tone, but after saying it, she found herself unable to suppress a laugh, the corners of her mouth slightly lifting. "Fine, it's my fault, okay? Can you play for me now?"

Hoshino Miru immediately released Kasugano Sora, then took out his guitar. After building up for a moment, he solemnly began playing his "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star."

Kasugano Sora's eyes sparkled, though her smile grew increasingly rich. Her hands propped on the sofa, she tilted her pretty face slightly, her long hair falling across her chest, eyes curved as she watched Hoshino Miru.

Though Hoshino Miru wanted to play longer, "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star's" melody was too simple and quickly ended.

"Is that all?" Kasugano Sora suppressed her laughter, her eyes full of teasing.

"I just started learning." Hoshino Miru couldn't quite save face. "But if you want to hear other songs, I can play a bit now too."

"No need. Actually, I think it sounds very good. Brother looked particularly handsome playing just now. You'll definitely be the most amazing guitar master in the future." Kasugano Sora extended both hands to hug Hoshino Miru's arm, like coaxing an eager-to-show-off child, smiling cheerfully at him. "From now on I'll be brother's biggest little fangirl and listen to brother play guitar every day!"

The girl's little bunny pressed softly against him. It was difficult for Hoshino Miru to ignore this sensation, feeling somewhat strange inside.

"Don't lie to me - you've been laughing non-stop." Hoshino Miru made a slight movement and the girl just hugged tighter. Unlike when he had actively embraced the girl's slender waist earlier, he could completely feel this softness now.

"I'm not lying." Kasugano Sora was still smiling cheerfully. "Brother like this is too lovable."

Hoshino Miru took a deep breath, then reached out to flick her forehead.
