"Chain him," Renzhou commanded coldly.
The gates of the palace were thrown open, and Yuexin rushed inside. Tears spilled as she found her parents, King Liang Wei and Queen Meiling, alive though weakened, imprisoned in the dark cells.
"Mother! Father!" she cried, falling to her knees.
