Chapter 106 - Beast God’s Humiliation, Wine and Women’s War

The dawn mist clung to the sky like torn silk, a faint melody of starlight still lingering above Xinghu Lake.

For ages past, this forbidden land at the edge of Star Dou had remained untouched, a paradise for beasts. But now… even paradise could crack.

At a solid stone table near the bank, Di Tian, Emperor Dragon, Beast God among soul beasts, sat and brooded. His long golden hair fluttered slightly in the morning breeze, draconic vertical pupils narrowed in sullen gloom.

He had not slept.

How could he?

"Brigitte left… The gentle little swan left…" He sighed, his mighty chest rising and falling with frustration. For the Beast God who had ruled centuries without equal, his heart felt strangely restless.

He had once been the bear striding confidently between Brigitte and the Lord, basking in their harmony. Yet in one stroke, it was gone. Friendships frayed, loyalties stolen away.

"The fierce place is no longer the paradise it once was…" 그의 sigh curled into smoke, drifting with the dawn wind.

Just then, a different scent intruded into his senses.

Alcohol. Heavy, aged, intoxicating.

His dragon nose flared at once like a hound catching prey. He turned toward the lake where, upon massive lotus leaves, more than ten armored young girls were guiding boats ashore. Their soul power steadied them as they balanced jar after jar of aged liquor—hundreds, perhaps thousands of years old. Each vessel was engraved with ancient seals of preservation, the aroma so thick that drool nearly slipped from Di Tian's maw.

And trailing after them, splashing through the lake, was Er Ming, the Titan Ape, eyes glazed with pure desire.

"Wine…! Wine!" The giant ape's expression was that of utter indulgence, equal parts comical and pitiful.

But Di Tian's fury erupted in a different direction.

He jerked upright, draconic aura surging with rage. "Humans! I smell humans! And worse—females!"

The ten girls stopped, armored in black with purple trim, weapons strapped elegantly but not threateningly. Their leader bowed politely.

"Emperor Di Tian, we come not as intruders. We were ordered by our master—the one you call the King—to deliver banquets, wine, and treasures. The Lord of Shenyan Hall celebrates prosperity, and we could not forget the mighty fierce beasts."

"Jewels? Wine?" Di Tian's eyes slit dangerously. "Do you think this is amusement? Humiliation! My beloved ones were abducted, my paradise emptied of beasts—and now you bring trinkets? You dare ride upon the dragon's head?"

He stood, voice like thunder, claws curling. Wine jars exploded under his pressure—dozens shattered, their fragrance spilling in rivers.

Er Ming squealed, mortified. Before the last barrels cracked, the titan lunged forward, his massive body acting as a wall to protect two jars like a desperate drunk clutching lifelines.

"Mine! At least let me drink before I die!" The ape's eyes burned red as he shielded the liquor.

"You wretched beast! Even you defy me?" Di Tian snarled, golden dragon teeth flashing, but his gaze turned swiftly back to the girls. His rage shimmered, leaking through the air like sharpened lightning.

"You dare… to tease me with gifts, to insult this Beast God! Very well. Dragons have feasted on maidens before… Today, this God shall have meat again!"

His aura blazed, his humanoid body shifting into his colossal true form—a majestic ebony-gold dragon spanning mountains, scales gleaming in menace. One snap of his jaws could crush armies. His roar cracked across the lake, sending ripples as far as the horizon.

Even Er Ming flinched.

"Hahaha!" Di Tian laughed bitterly. If he devoured these human women, perhaps his majesty would return. Brigitte would see, the beasts would remember, the King would fear. "Sleeping Beauty's knee, wake the Soul Beast's pride! Today, you pitiful insects shall learn why I am called Beast God!"

But—

The maidens showed no fear.

Their calm faces made his fury tremble with humiliation. How could puny humans stare indifferently at the Beast God? Even ten-thousand-year beasts bowed helpless before his aura, yet they… didn't even flinch!

"Then die!"

With a swipe, his vast tongue, wide as rivers, lashed outward, intent not to kill but to capture, to swallow these fragile women alive. No mercy.

But the maidens moved in unison.

Each lifted a small, palm-sized spray bottle. Its frame was black, shaped like a dragon curling nervously upon itself, eyes wide with comical fear.

They pressed.

"Pssht."

A colorless mist spritzed into the air.

The instant it touched Di Tian's tongue—

"—!!!"

Sizzling. A burning hiss.

Like iron thrown into acid, the massive draconic tongue recoiled violently as smoke and bubbles erupted. Two smoking holes appeared where the spray landed.

"RAHHHH!!!"

Pain never known before ripped through Di Tian's body. His screams rocked the ancient forest, reverberating across every treetop. The Beast God collapsed onto the ground, writhing in agony, his monumental body twisting, rolling, thrashing with humiliation and suffering.

He shrank into human form just to stop himself shaking apart, clutching his mouth, unable to close it.

The Titan Ape's jaw dropped. Its eyes went wide like saucers. "Gods… that spray…!" Its furry butt thudded down hard, breaking jars beneath it. But pain in the rear didn't matter when the sight before it was history made.

For Er Ming had never seen Emperor Di Tian defeated. Humbled. Screaming like a common beast.

"If… if Ben Ape had that baby weapon, I could rob liquor from the human world every day…" It drooled, then gulped nervously. "But no, no… If it hurt the Beast God, what would it do to me?! Ai…"

Shaking, fear rooted it deeper than any vines.

Meanwhile, one waitress approached the writhing dragon, speaking with calm clarity.

"Our Master foresaw this. Emperor Di Tian—you are indeed cruel, violent, impulsive. Yet the truth is laid bare. Do not resent him."

Her words pierced heavier than arrows. Crippled by pain, Di Tian could only crawl backward, soul trembling. Even with his near-800,000-year cultivation, fear tore into his heart.

That spray hadn't merely poisoned him. Its aura suppressed his bloodline itself. A force beyond will, beyond instinct.

He rasped, tongue charred, words broken. "I-I…I… will… not eat you. Leave! Leave now!"

The girls inclined their heads politely. "The gift is delivered. Please share it with your fellow beasts. We apologize if offense was caused. But remember our Master's reminder: a dragon should know what lines not to cross, what things not to covet. Farewell."

The hidden meaning cut keen as a blade.

They stepped gracefully onto their lotus boats and vanished into morning mist.

Di Tian slumped against the stones, drenched in sweat, his mighty form shaking weakly. "So frightening… It suppressed my very blood! What manner of treasure is that child holding?!"

Long after, silence returned. Even hours later, his body remained weak, burn marks across his tongue.

Finally, he forced himself upright, bitter laughter escaping. "Gods… your time is over. That child—he is not merely under the Lord's protection. He wields treasures that can reduce even me to dust." His pupils dimmed with dawning despair.

For centuries he had boasted as the apex soul beast, Beast God Di Tian. Yet with one spray, he was humiliated. Perhaps Ziji and the others had been right. Perhaps submitting to that child was the only survival road for beasts.

He glanced sideways at Er Ming, who was sprawled wide-legged like a glutton, happily guzzling wine, jewelry looped around his wrists like a foolish monkey king.

"Er Ming…" Di Tian croaked. "Is wine… really that good?"

The Titan Ape looked up, mouth foaming with drink, nodding vigorously, thumb raised. "Good! Not only good—it makes body stronger, power rise! Want to try, Brother Di Tian? This King's gift is delicious!"

For the first time, Di Tian lifted a jar with his own hands. He tore the seal violently. Bitter liquid poured into him.

At first burn, then warmth. The sorrow in his heart melted with each gulp until tears unexpectedly rose.

"Happy… so happy! Once bitter, now sweet! This wine… it mends even the wounds of the heart!"

The Beast God tilted his head back and laughed with tears streaking down the sides of his proud face.

Er Ming scratched his head, sighing with simple confusion. "Why endure so much, Emperor? The King gave wine and kindness. Why resist? Why not accept and live well?"

Di Tian could only drink more, the bitterness of pride twisting with fermented joy.

Shenyan Hall – That Night

While the Beast God wrestled with humiliation and liquor, the human side faced another kind of chaos.

Within the Shenyan Hall's sleeping chambers, Subei's troubles multiplied.

Ever since her poison had been cured, Dugu Yan clung to his side like silk threads, refusing to leave. Daytime, she held his arm. Nighttime, she firmly invaded his quarters.

But she was not the only one accustomed to being by his side.

For Xiao Wu had long been his constant. For her, falling asleep nestled in Subei's arms was as natural as breathing. Of course, she came as she always did this night—only to burst in and halt mid-step.

Inside, she found Dugu Yan already there, shamelessly teasing and playing at Subei's bed.

Xiao Wu froze. Her face flushed crimson, words stammering, rabbit ears trembling hard.

And before Subei could attempt an explanation—

The door opened again.

Hu Liena.

Her foxlike steps slid into the chamber, glamour sharp as moonlight. After Bibidong's personal instruction, her charm cultivation had made a qualitative leap. She burned with confidence, eager to prove herself in front of Subei—yet stunned to find two others already staking claim.

Three women.

One man.

Eyes locked, room drowned in silent tension.

The air itself crackled with danger. Women's battlefield needed no weapons.

The classic choice:

One—struggle, collide, create chaos.

Or two—accept unimaginable harmony.

Subei's hand quietly reached for his temples. His head throbbed with the intensity of their unspoken battle.

Meanwhile, in another room, Tang San sat cross-legged in meditation. But his ears caught faint murmurs, and his eyes flicked open.

Slowly, he lowered his spiritual cultivation transmission, whispering coldly to himself. "So that's it… Teacher's essence is not martial strength, but balance of Yin and Yang… the harmony of male and female energies…"

His small fist clenched with sudden resolution. "Then I must study further. Medicine. Toxins. Yin-Yang harmonics! To understand Teacher's way!"

And so, outside, three women faced a man. While inside himself, Tang San stepped into a new delusion.
