Has Adamantium ever appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
The answer is yes.
Everyone knows Wolverine's entire skeleton is bonded with Adamantium. Even after his death, Deadpool once wielded his skeleton as a weapon.
And nothing could withstand it.
But… there are no mutants here.
Indeed.
This world has no mutants.
Hawk was sure of it.
Which only made it harder to understand how Adamantium could suddenly show up on Skull Island.
As he turned the thought over in his mind—
The stilt house shook violently.
Hawk blinked.
"An earthquake?"
"Shit."
Felicia froze, then gasped. "The Skullcrawlers are out."
The name alone conjured their image in Hawk's head—
the monstrous predators of Skull Island: massive, hideous bodies, jaws crammed with razor teeth, tails ending in claws, and long tongues that lashed out like whips.
Alarms blared across the village.
The Iwi grabbed their weapons, rushing to the central hall. Warriors clambered onto the palisade walls, spears and bows at the ready.
Tension swept the air.
Far away, deep within a canyon shrouded in ocher smoke, a yawning pit belched fumes. The ground trembled.
A giant Skullcrawler, over ten meters long, slithered out.
Then another. A third. By the time the fifth appeared, the pack loomed together, shrieking their ear-splitting cries into the sky.
And then—
"ROAR!"
Kong's bellow thundered through the canyon, drowning them all.
This was no warning cry like the one he had given Hawk. This was raw fury—blood-deep hatred.
"Damn it. Peter."
Felicia, stepping from the hut with Hawk, clutched his arm. "He's still in Kong's canyon."
Hawk's brows shot up. He glanced toward the smoke-choked gorge.
"Then…"
"Yes."
"I'll find him."
In the same instant, he vanished into red light, streaking toward the canyon where Kong had disappeared.
Inside, chaos reigned.
Storm vultures, huge bat-like scavengers, shrieked as they scattered from their perches. Bone-backed jackals, larger than hyenas, sprinted in packs, fleeing in panic. Countless other twisted beasts stampeded to escape.
Caught in the maelstrom—
the Iwi hunting party.
And Spider-Man.
"Look out!"
Peter shot a webline, yanking a frozen hunter away just before a lumbering beast crushed him.
He and a dozen Iwi huddled in a canyon alcove, silent, watching the flood of beasts thunder by. One wrong move and they'd be trampled or eaten.
The ground split—
A massive, furred foot slammed down.
Kong.
The king had returned.
The other creatures broke away, clearing the path as if in reverence.
At the canyon's heart, beneath the ocher haze, lay a bone-strewn battlefield. The Skullcrawlers waited there, shrieking their challenge.
Kong roared back, his fury aimed at the murderers of his parents.
This was war.
But it wasn't fair. Five against one.
Watching from above, Hawk scowled. "Figures."
Still, he didn't dive in—yet. Instead he landed beside the first line of defenders.
Beside Peter.
At first, Hawk barely recognized him.
The boy who once looked pale and soft-skinned in New York now stood bare-chested, bronzed, scarred, hardened.
No longer Maguire the Avenger.
More like Maguire the Barbarian.
Hawk grinned. "Hey, Peter. Long time."
"…Hawk?"
Peter's face lit up—then froze, eyes widening past him.
A bone-backed jackal lunged, jaws wide.
Hawk didn't look. His fist lashed back.
The creature exploded into gore, leaving a brief vacuum in the stampede. The shockwave froze the other beasts mid-run. Better to climb the canyon walls than pass him.
His punch echoed through the canyon—
And into the depths of the pit.
Two Skullcrawlers paused, sniffing.
From below came a slow, deliberate roar.
Orders.
The pair turned from Kong, their heads swiveling toward Hawk. Their eyes glowed. They shrieked—and charged.
Peter's hairs stood on end. He hissed, "Be careful. Those things killed Kong's parents. They're monsters."
Hawk's lips curled into a smile.
"Monsters? Two crawlers?"
He stepped forward. His fist drew back. The ground cracked under his feet.
The Skullcrawlers leapt, tongues whipping toward him like barbed lances.
Hawk's punch blurred.
"Lightning Supersonic Fist—"
Hundreds of blows exploded in an instant.
The tongues shredded into pulp.
The beasts themselves vanished under a storm of strikes.
The canyon roared.
BOOM!
