The prom began, student were having fun, drinking, making out but Eva eyes still darted around for Jackson, but he was no where to be found, Eva stuck with Jayne and John for most of the night, then it was time for slow dancing.
John didn't really want to dance but Jayne insisted, so he agreed, the moment Jayne and John walked to the dance floor, all eyes were on them, Jayne looked like a princess dancing with her prince charming.
Eva watched her, feeling a bit of joy within, another couple joined in, but no one really paid attention to them, but they were also good looking too.
Eva looked closer and realized, it was Jackson dancing with a another girl, when he had asked her, Jayne looked at Eva, and saw her staring at the other couple, with an emotion, she couldn't quit get.
She told John to look at the other couple, and tell her who it is, John nodded.
He slowly moved closer to them, he looked at the couple "it is Maggie and hmmm Jackson" Jayne widened.
"Jackson" she said, his name to clarify and John just nodded.
That moment she broke out of John embrace and charge towards them, she turned Jackson around and saw it was him, she held his collar and slapped him.
"You idiot, how dare you?" Jayne said staring at him with anger.
Jackson held his cheek and looked at Jayne with anger, he gripped her wrist, John tried to intervene but his friends held his hands.
He twisted her wrist, Jayne told him to stop, Eva saw what he was doing and it made her blood boil, she was about to intervene, when the thought of what she did to Lizzy hit her, she was so scared she could move her feet
No one was willing to stand against Jackson
"Why won't you save yourself by letting her go?" Everyone turned there head "it's Eric" everyone whispered
He was dressed in a white and red suit with his blonde hair everyone was in awe, all girls turned their head to drool only Eva and Jayne saw the real him, he was still dressed in his suit
But his hair was silver, sparkling in the dance light, he looked like a mafia boss here for business, his calm firm face and that cold aura that made knees weak walking has his body guards with him
He walk straight to Jackson "let go of her hand" he repeated, the fear was bold in his eyes but he tried to push it away, he stare at Zerian, clearly realizing how tall he is compared to him .
At first he refused, but after some seconds of just staring into his intimating eyes, he finally let go and John broke free from their grip
He then held his collar and raised in him up to his level "only cowards hurts a lady and you a bigger one for standing her up like that, let make this the first and the last time you would lay your hand on a girl, do I make myself clear?" Zerian stared intensively into his eyes like he wanted to steal his soul
Jackson was obviously scared to the bones, he agreed, nodding is head severely, Zerian dropped him to the ground and he fled away like rat
Jayne stood there smiling "why stop the party because we saw a roach, were did we stop" Jayne said, looking at John before putting her hands on his neck while his was on her waist and the music started
Everyone didn't know if they could just pretend like nothing happened, but Maggie went to the crowd and picked a guy and kissed him
Someone from the crowed shouted, and another just clapped some laughed and things went back to normal
Zerian eyes shifted to Eva who was till standing in the crowed traumatized, Zerian walked towards her and everyone created a path for him, also looking at who he was walking too
He walked up to the shaking Eva, he held her hands and kissed her on the forehead, "don't be scared, I am here" then hugged her till she was calmed
Some girl rolled their eyes at her, some looked away out of jealousy and whole some just smiled and approved of this beautiful couple
He then lead her to the dance floor and took of the hood she wore, exposing her white hair, she stared in Zerian eyes, it felt like they were the only one there.
He took Eva's hand and placed it on his neck and held her waist pulling her close to him till they were inches away from each other.
He stared down into those Eva's eyes then smiled warmly like he never did in years
They dance for five minutes not saying a word to each other, letting their eyes do all the talking, then the watch on Zerian hands started to beep, he calmly turned it off
He then whispered into Eva's ear and said "you look just like your mother" Eva snapped back shifting away from him confused where that came from.
He then smiled, he said in his mind "you and Jayne follow me now"
Zerian said before leaving, Eva got the message, Eva didn't even think about it and when ahead to meet Jayne.
She told her to come with her, Jayne was confused and wanted to ask more questions but Eva didn't give her the chance to, she grabbed her arm to lead her to the same route Zerian walked too
Zerian was standing in front of the door that lead to the security room, where all cameras in the venue are been watched
Eva walked to him with Jayne in her hands, and before she could say anything John came running behind them
"What the hell are you doing here?" Zerian asked
"You can't take my girl and just leave suspiciously without a fight" he replied out of breath
"Like you did anything when she was attacked"
"stop it" Jayne said defending him
Zerian rubbed his temples before saying "I don't have the time to deal with you" he opened the door and ordered everyone to enter
He told Eva there was an iron bat in the cupboard beside them, in case someone entered forcefully
"What is going on?" Jayne asked a bit worried
Zerian look at her and then stared at the huge TV that displayed everything that was going on in the venue "you will see" he said before locking the door behind him
Eva checked the cupboard and there was indeed an iron bat there
And before anyone could say anything they saw a group of guys enter the hall, they were just in with guns, Eva, Jayne and John were in shocked.
