The day of the flower fair soon arrived. Felix and Adrian loaded all the flowers they were displaying into a neighbor's pickup truck and hurried to the venue.
The fair was held on the wide, grassy field with wild flowers just outside town. It was one of Ashvale's pride and a lot of the town's weddings and events were held here. Today like previous years, it was decorated for the flower fair.
They found a spot, not too far back but not exactly in the centre either. Just the right position to be noticed without being overwhelmed.
"Where should I put this one?" Adrian asked, holding a pot of orchids.
"Right there in the middle." Felix replied. "It's supposed to be the main attraction."
The orchid was the famous but rare White Egret Orchid. Its white petals resembled a bird, with fringed wings in midflight, from a distance, it looked like a small tree filled with nesting birds. It symbolized happiness and love.
