Chen dreams about his fight with Drake.
He wakes up like he's seen a ghost,
he realizes that he had passed out. He gets up and sees he is in a unfamiliar place, he goes outside to see that no one was there then he walks out but then he turns around since he sensed someone.
He sees a red haired woman on the roof sitting.
Chen skeptical - "Who are you?"
???- "Someone who saved your ass"
Chen remembers while he was about to die by Drake someone saved him.
Chen- "Thank you"
???- "Don't mention it" she flips off the roof and lands perfectly on her feet.
Chen- "So whats your name?"
???- "You can call me Maes"
Chen- "My name is Chen, I'm sorry my memories are a bit fuzzy what happened?"
Maes- "Well I was just walking and sensed 2 power houses a Gifted and a Curse, since I didn't want you two destroying the town and got others hurt I got curious so I checked it out to see you fighting a weird curse and saw u were about to die so I saved u"
Chen- "Oh yea I remember now, thank you for jogging my memory"
Maes- "Your welcome"
Chen- "Also where are we?"
Maes- "We're at a Gifted H.Q"
Chen- "A H.Q huh? So that means your a gift like me then?"
Maes- "Yea, now that I've answered your question now answer one of mine"
Chen- "Ok"
Maes- "Who or better yet what were you fighting?"
Chen- "My brother or well what was my brother, I don't know what happened to him but he is different some how"
Maes- " I'd say he is a curse but he ain't no ordinary curse do you know how he got his powers?"
Chen- "No, I remember us having a little brawl because he wanted to be a gifted one but I won and he apologized then everything was ok until that day."
Maes- "Oh I need to inform the higher ups about this"
Chen- "Oh I heard about curses aren't they like the bad guys?"
Maes- "Yes"
Chen- " How do Cursed ones get their power?"
Maes- "Essentially like us Cursed ones are originally human but instead of getting their powers from God like us, they get theirs from near death experiences. When they are about to die they're forced into a contract by demons. When done they get powers but theirs have consequences.
Chen- "Consequences!!??"
Maes- "Yea consequences, based on their powers they receive a drawback if not followed will let the curse consume them."
Chen- "Wait so my brother will die if he doesn't listen to the drawbacks."
Maes- "Maybe but he is not like any curses I've come across."
Chen- "What do you mean?"
Maes- "Usually Curses are different and more berserk but he was fully in control and he was saved by a demon"
Chen- "Wait a demon!?"
Maes- "When the powers are given the demons only give the contract and collect the bodies when they are consumed by the curse."
Chen- "So that's odd"
Maes- "Very and if they are working together could bring more problems for us Gifted."
Maes- "I'll be right back" walks off
Chen- "Ok"

Draven wakes up
Rah- "Your finally awake"
Draven- "Yea so did he get away?"
Rah- "Yes, he was saved by another Gifted."
Draven smirks- "Oh well I guess I'll just have to kill him next time I see him"
Rah grins- "You really want to kill him huh?"
Draven- "Yea but I need to get stronger"
Rah- "Well then you need start training and since its my power"
Draven- "Yea so what're we waiting for let's do this."

Chen sits and waits as Maes went to take a call.
Chen- "Damn I'm so bored"
Chen looks at the sky and a dagger is thrown at him. He dodges and sees a figure attacking him. He catches a dagger and throws it back.
Chen- "Come out you scaredy cat"
A blast shots at him, he dodges and begins to attack back. The figure comes out and starts to fight him. He swings at the figure who dodges with ease then hold his hand and flips him over. He tucks and roll then gets up and lays off a barrage of punches but the figure keeps dodging he then tries to sweep the figure's feet who flips over it and goes at him with great speed. Chen also starts charging at him. They're both stopped by Maes who holds both their fists.
Maes: "Alright that's enough you two"
Back with Draven
Draven is seen on the floor battered and in bad shape.
Rah- "Your weaker than I expected if your going to kill your brother you need to be better than that"
Draven slowly gets up and starts attacking Rah again but is easily knocked out. Rah looks at him then goes away.
Draven- "Damn this is hard but I need to get stronger to finally kill him."
Draven continues to train as his hatred for his brother drives him to get stronger. A demon appears behind Rah who is watching Draven train.
???- "Master why did u make the partnering contract with this human?"
Rah- "Because he is one of the strangest yet interesting human I've met and I want to see if he can carry out his ideals." Rah smirks
???- "Not everyone agrees with this"
Rah- "If they have a problem they can take it up with me"
???- "Ok sir"
The demon disappears and Rah goes to do other things.
Back at the Gifted H.Q
Maes- "What the hell is wrong with you?"
???- "I'm just seeing what the newbie is made of"
Maes- "You could've done that and done it with less violence"
???- "What can I say I'm experimental" he smirks
Chen- "Who even is this?" He wonders
???- "Oh I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself my name is Aimillios you can call me Aim for short and I'm sorry for attacking you back there I just wanted to test out your abilities" he smiles.
Maes look at him in distort
Chen- "Its all good but is that your actual name?"
Aim- "No but you see when you become a gifted to protect your friends and family you kill yourself from the media and recieve a gifted name"
Maes- "Speaking of which it's your turn"
Chen- "Huh? how does this work?"
Maes- "Well you meditate and go into the spirit realm and you'll go through a test and the name will stick out"
Chen proceeds to start clearing his mind to access the portal to the spirit world but it failed. Chen opens his eyes
Chen-"Eh?"
They both look at him in confusion.
Maes- "Let's try this again"
Chen tries 6 more times and the result is the same. Aim laughs histerically while Chen looks at him in anger.
Aim- "That's crazy, 7 times and still failed is he actually this weak" he continues to laugh.
Chen- "Shut up" he looks in anger and embarrassed.
Maes- "Alright enough, we need to find out why he can't access the spirit
world"
Aim- "Well maybe he just isn't focused enough"
Maes- "Maybe, but he needs to find a way to enter the spirit world"
Chen spends the next hour trying to access the spirit world.
Chen- "Why can't I do this" he groans in frustration
Maes- "How's it going?"
Chen- "No luck" he sighs
Maes- "Well you should get something in your stomach"
Chen- "Its fine I'm not hungry" his stomach starts to growl
Maes- "Well your stomach says otherwise" she smirks
Chen is flustered from embarrassment
Maes- "Atleast get something to eat"
Chen- "Fine" he sighs and gets up
He goes inside to eat and he sees a variety of food. His mouth water as he looks at the food and his belly grumbles.
He takes his first bite and is in love with the flavour.
Chen- "It tastes so good!!!"
Chen scarfs down all the food in the matter of seconds.
Aim- "Easy there, Your going to fast you might choke" he laughs
Chen- "It's just so good!!!" he talks with his mouth full.
Aim smiles at the sight of Chen
Aim- "You remind me of..." he mumbles

Chen- "Oh ok" he goes back to chowing down food.

Maes goes to wake up Chen but sees he is not in his room, she goes through the room but no sign of him then suddenly she hears fighting and goes outside to see Chen sparring with Aim.

Chen goes for a jab at the gut but Aim dodges and grabs his arm and flips him over and slams him into the ground.
Aim- "Your attacks are too slow and predictable if u want to even lay a blow to me your gonna have to move faster than that."
Chen slowly gets up and goes in with a barrage of punches but Aim avoids them easily. Chen then tries to sweep him off his feet and Aim jumps up and kicks him in the face and he falls to the ground.
Aim- "That's all hand to hand combat for today"

He walks off in frustration and goes inside passed Maes.

Maes- "Glad to hear but I'm still confused for some reason he can't enter the spirit realm."
