Chapter 25

The Spiritual Sea

Einver looked around him and saw nothing but absolute darkness covering everything. He was alone there, as though trapped in a void without stars, without planets, without even a glimmer of light—just endless black swallowing all.

He closed his eyes and sank deeper into his inner awareness, to the very border of his spiritual sea that had yet to be formed, focusing all his consciousness upon his inner energy. The shimmering white energy began to surge endlessly through his body, flowing like a luminous river into every vein. Einver concentrated for a long time, then began to gather the energy. It collected once again around his dantian, but this time its density and force were far greater than ever before.

After a long period of deep focus, Einver calmly gave the command. The energy spread gradually throughout his body, enveloping him in a pure, clear, and powerful aura. He felt as though he had become a superhuman—capable of anything, in complete command of every strand of his strength.

It was a natural sensation for him. He was human, yes, but one who had trained from childhood, transcending and shattering the limits of men until he realized that his previous world—his homeland—was bound by ceilings that he had already surpassed. At that moment, Einver felt as though he stood atop the world, without rival, without challenge.

It was a strange and ambiguous feeling. He had always been used to finding a new challenge after every stage of training, pushing himself ever further upward. When he first began push-ups, he was content with six, but once he felt satisfaction, his mind demanded more.

When he learned the sword and mastered it, he did not stop there—he learned the bow, the spear, even the whip. When he perfected boxing, he went on to taekwondo, wrestling, kung fu. When he took up meditation, he fasted for two full weeks without food or water, reaching a level of concentration no one before him had attained.

This was Einver: when he learned something, he always strove to climb higher and higher.

But in the end, standing upon the summit of his old world, he felt only loneliness and emptiness. There was no dragon left to speak with, no mighty beast to fight, no training left unmastered, no goal remaining to reach. Like the last of the sacred dragons, he stood on the peak unable to know what lay beyond.

This realization was more than a personal sentiment—it was enough to shake the world itself. For a young man to possess such strength and ability was not only his achievement but an event that stirred admiration in many, making him an ideal others longed to reach. Yet not all were admirers. There were many haters, many filled with malice. For humans often despise what others possess, wishing them a fate worse than death. That is envy.

Why do you have what I do not? Then die.

Such is the thinking of the ignorant. They will not toil as Einver toiled, nor work as he worked. Yet when they see one who surpasses them, they will not blame themselves but cast all their rage upon him instead.

Though Einver had long lingered at the limits of his former world, now it was different. He felt the power sinking deeper into him, surging through the nodes of his inner energy, until he glimpsed a higher purpose, a greater goal.

A higher existence.

A stronger being.

Other realms of martial cultivation.

Countless levels and gates before him.

And for the first time in a long while, Einver felt truly alive.

He smiled quietly as the aura gathered softly around his body. This aura, though weak now, if allowed to grow stronger, could shatter the world. This was the great realm of martial cultivation.

The energy, having filled his body, began to gather in his mind, until he felt he had reached the very limit of what he could contain.

In the past, he had absorbed energy at every opportunity, and only moments ago, when he loosed the arrow, he had broken through his bottleneck by using the spiritual energy he had amassed.

He had literally shattered the bottleneck—and the transformation had begun.

After gathering the energy, one must distribute it through the body.

The words of old Moon Fai were etched deep in his mind.

At Einver's command, the energy began to spread through his body: from head to neck, chest to arms, down through waist and thighs, until it reached his feet. After this equal distribution, he focused again, feeling himself and the energy as one indivisible whole.

Though the words sounded simple, the act itself was not. The process lasted two full hours. All the while, he could hear the soldiers knocking upon his door from time to time.

"Honored guest, the princess requests your presence."

At intervals they came, repeating the same message, but none dared to open the door. Everyone knew Einver was the princess's guest, and he had placed a sign upon the door: Do not disturb.

Einver shut out the sound, sinking again into the silence of his spiritual sea. After distributing the energy fully, he stood in the center of the void, energy flowing within him. He closed his eyes and spread his hands wide, as though to embrace the world.

Brilliant white light began to pour from his palms, glowing in the darkness, spreading out in waves across his spiritual sea. Minutes later, Einver opened his eyes—they burned crimson, yet glowed faintly white, as did his hands. In that moment, he seemed like a transcendent being, risen above human thought, touched by heavenly enlightenment.

At his command, creation began from nothing. From the pitch-dark void, energy gathered at the center, taking form as a small sphere the size of a human head. It grew steadily, shaping itself into solid ground and vast waters, until it became a complete planet suspended within the great expanse.

Einver exhaled deeply, sweat running down his brow and body. He raised his hands once more, and with a single thought, he lifted the sky high above his new world, stretching into infinity, adorned with countless stars.

With care, he set everything in its place. He formed four biospheres—narrow regions upon the earth's surface where different fields intertwined to support life. He created seven atmospheric layers rising sixteen hundred kilometers, designed to preserve the gases surrounding the planet and sustain an ideal environment for living beings.

When he finished, Einver opened his eyes, and the darkness and light had both vanished, replaced by a colossal planet and a breathtaking cosmos.

Compared to its size, Einver seemed like an ant before his own creation.

He smiled faintly, then closed his eyes in exhaustion. His body fell from the sky he had made, plunging toward his planet at tremendous speed, yet his small smile never faded. It was as if he had accomplished a feat no one before him had ever achieved. Perhaps he truly had.

Heat blazed around him as he pierced the layers of atmosphere, like a meteor falling from the heights of space. After a descent of five minutes, he struck the earth, carving a crater fifty meters deep—yet all controlled by his will over the force of the fall.

Now Einver stood within his own planet, inside his spiritual sea, where he could do anything he desired. Had he fallen from such a height in the outer world, he would have been annihilated by the crushing pressure of atmosphere and space. But here, the force of his will kept him conscious and lessened the impact.

Climbing from the pit, he looked around to see an endless desert, yellow earth stretching far without end. And yet Einver was so overjoyed he leapt with laughter and delight at his great accomplishment.

Regaining his calm, he recalled the words of old Moon Fai:

"After creating your spiritual sea, you will find barren land. But that is only the beginning. This land is yours, entirely. Think strongly, focus, and create. This is the power of the spiritual sea, and it depends on your martial world. The greater your strength and art, the greater your influence upon your sea. You may bring people and objects into your spiritual sea, but only if they are equal to or weaker than you. Otherwise, they will shake your world and destroy it. So be cautious, my friend."

Einver smiled once more, then opened his eyes back in the outer world. He found himself seated in his room, calm and at peace after his great journey within the power of his spiritual sea.
